I hope this is the first step to a Margaret Blaine spin-off series.

I'm not especially bothered by having Doctor Who monster in Torchwood, but I'm DELIGHTED we're getting a Gwen Cooper release straight of the bat when this comes back in March.

Just a thought ... while Torchwood is more adult and uses bad language, I really don't want to hear Jo Jones using the F-word. That would feel like betraying a part of my childhood innocence I know what you mean, and I'm sure this will have been a consideration, but I'm also sure that there is a line they won't cross with Jo. Martha's appearances in S2 of the the TV show didn't see here doing anything wildly inappropriate as she as a character crossing in from the parent show - doubtless this will be the same. I love the title 'The Green Life', but why not 'Image of the Gwendal'? How did they resist?

This is what I've wanted BF to be doing for a while. Just smashing everything together in normal releases.

I am super, super excited for these! Especially the Rhys one - that cover is awesome! I know I've been saying this a lot recently, but seriously: what are Big Finish saving for Big Finish Day? If they're announcing all this stuff now, imagine what they've got to announce on Saturday...

The Margaret Slitheen and Nestene ones sound great, but I am wary overall, just because I like my Torchwood to be its own thing, rather than subordinate to the main show.

I’m torn about jo in torchwood. Jo is such a wonderful upbeat character. I’m worried she’ll stick out like a sore thumb.
But more Katy is always awesome.

Ooh these are very tempting. I thought I wasn’t going to add anything else to my buy list for next year but maybe...

Maybe that’ll be the point, maybe it’ll be Torchwood’s way of doing things versus Jo Jones’ (Who, let’s us not forget once handcuffed herself to Robert Mugabe) way of doing things.

Oh and that Fendahl cover is a thing of beauty. I actually got a bit of a jolt when I saw it. I don't think I've ever had a cover do that before.

Honestly, I hope it’s not allegorical or “Gwen made up to look like the Fendahl Core” but rather “Gwen becomes the Fendahl Core” because thst’d be a brutal way to writevout her character, and totally fitting with how Torchwood has written out just about all the other characters - they died because they’re humans in a story that should involve an alien genius who could have saved them.

Can’t help but notice those other two releases marked with the same Monsters label.
