Either Empire Strikes Back or Superman II, both were 1980. I couldn't stay awake for Empire (I was 3) and had to be taken home by my Dad so for years I never knew how it ended until it was on TV. My dad must have been very gracious, if one of my children stopped me seeing the end of a film I liked they would never hear the end of it, but he has never complained to me once Especially THAT Film

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

My dad, who is a huge Spencer Tracy fan, has never let him forget it 57 years later.

Must have been Aladdin, I think. When I was four years old and obbessed with dinosaurs, my Dad decided to take my brother and I to see Jurrassic Park because he thought it was a 'fun family movie' in the vein of The Land Before Time

My parents saw Back to the Future when my mum was 8 months pregnant with me. My mom - having already picked my name at the time - claims she knew it was the right choice when she felt me move during Home Alone at the bit where Catherine O'Hara yells "Kevin!" My first actual theatrical movie was apparently The Lion King at three years old. I think that's a great first film, but I don't have any memory of watching it then - so I was happy to see it again in theatres when they did the 3D re-release. I'd probably seen tons of films at home by that point and I definitely have no specific memory of watching things like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jaws, etc. for the first time. Which... probably means I watched Jaws too young. That's probably why I bite tourists, I guess.
