It's finally been announced after years of being teased. In March 2019 we'll get The Iron Legion and The Star Beast, adapted by Alan Barnes.
Does this meet the hype?

I don't read DW comics, so I can't say that their adaptations especially excite me or put me off.
I am, however, always down for more Tom Baker.

Wasn't sure where else to post this, so I thought it would probably go here. Exciting news! It only just occurred to me, but as of July we're officially in the 20th year of Doctor Who at Big Finish! (July next year only marks the 20th birthday, which only comes after the 20th year, so let the celebrations... already have begun...?) The podcast also confirmed that there would be one box set for each of the Doctors, with this being the Fourth Doctors' and The New New Adventures featuring Seven, Chris, and Roz being the Seventh Doctor one (obviously ). That still means there are a few more box sets to be announced and, given what we've been officially/unofficially teased so far, I reckon these are some pretty good predictions for what they might be about: (Assuming he has one) Third Doctor - one story featuring the new UNIT team (specifically Kate and Osgood) and one other, maybe a recast Delgado, or perhaps a pre-zombification Beevers? Fifth Doctor - probably the first Five, Tegan, and Turlough adventures, what which Mark Strickson recently being in studio, as well as Peter and Janet recording this past week Sixth Doctor - probably the Peri stories that we've been promised for a little while now Eighth Doctor - possibly the Charley reunion everyone's been asking for, though I'm not sure whether or not that's supposed to be the final series of Charlotte Pollard (which I think it is). If so, then maybe a couple more adventures with Lucie? Or perhaps two Ravenous sets and one Time War set will be considered to be enough I won't speculate as to whether or not we'll be getting any stories with the other Doctors as there just isn't enough to go on right now. As for other unannounced 20th anniversary releases we don't really know too much, do we? Other than the Missy set, of course. I'm looking forward to everything though!

I think it’s been mentioned that while leery to recast Delgado, establishing Beevers as the Master pre-burning means they could go down that route.

I was really hoping for world shapers Suppose there's always room for them to expand this out to a larger range beyond just the Fourth Doctor if these initial releases are successful. World Shapers is definitely one I thought would suit Big Fin's tastes to adapt, especially after Marinus was mentioned as a potential Cyberman origin by the Doctor in last year's finale.

I remember reading them in my youth when they came out and there was one with Shaolin monks ....If the novel adaptations weren’t as successful as they hoped, will these be?

Even more Fourth Doctor! We are being spoilt.
With artwork (hopefully) available to them I am really looking forward to the video trailer for these!
I still do not believe that the Fourth Doctor novel adaptations weren’t popular. They remain my personal favourite Fourth Doctor audio adventures.
