Just read the article in the latest Vortex about this set. Each story sounds great and completely different from each other. Really looking forward to its release next month!

Between this, the Early Years and the Main Range, Doctor Who at Big Finish are rather like buses! Looking forward to all three, but New Adventures the most.

I had thought this was one release I could safely miss and give my credit card a rest, the VNAs not being part of my 'Doctor Who' history...
Then I listened to the trailer...
...
I am the mere plaything of BF.

Out this week according to the podcast Awesome! I have this on preorder, and (coincidentally) I watched Hartnell's "Reign of Terror" and Troughton's "Power of the Daleks" last month because I was curious about the animation. Then I got the Third Doctor Adventures on sale, then Fourth Doctor's Lost Stories as part of the 13th celebration sale. And I grabbed Main Range 208-210 last week, i'll be listening to them in the next few days... If tomorrow has a Sixth Doctor release I want, i'll be able to make this into an accidental marathon of (for me) new stories! Sadly I already have the full Eighth Doctor catalogue So unless Big Finish surprises us and drops the next Ravenous or Time War or Lucie Miller box-set veeeery early, my accidental marathon will come crashing to an end

Monday and Fridays aren’t typical release dates unless it’s a Short Trip (those have midnight UK time releases now) or a specific date has been selected ahead of time, like November 23rd was for Light at the End (which got pushed forward to October 23rd). Releasing two box sets, as well as a box set and a single jewel case release is also rare.

Releasing two box sets, as well as a box set and a single jewel case release is also rare. Very cool, though for me the specific day won't be a problem since I haven't started my 5th Doctor releases yet... If I get lucky on the 6th Doctor sale tomorrow i'll be able to time my listen of these 7DA's without problem so long as they come out in the next 7 days! My problem remains a lack of 8th Doctor stories to follow... Mr Briggs, if you're reading, please note - the need for an early release of McGann's next boxset is, truly, definitely, dire. The world will judge you on what you do next, Mr Briggs. Your children are watching.

Damaged Goods is an excellent production from all aspects; story, cast, direction, music and sound. Definitely worth the time, especially with the Listeners discount!

I don't know. I think McCoy is the most inconsistent Doctor. The plus side is Klein making a welcome return to the MR and Roz & Chris in the box set.

I’d even go as far to say that the 7th Doctor is the only Doctor where I prefer his companions to him.

I don't know, I think July next year is a strong contender for making that a real possibility...

I don't know about that. Some of us...okay...me...are thinking about just cutting back to Doctor Who and Dark Shadows branded titles. So much of what I buy is falling through the cracks as far as not getting listened to.

So much of what I buy is falling through the cracks as far as not getting listened to. I'm having the opposite difficulty - I'm staying up to date with all the latest releases I'm interested in, but it means I'm not really catching up on all the old ranges because I haven't got enough time to get through my backlog. Big Finish listeners - it's a hard life
