Why no Toby Kinsella on the cover image?

I really want at least some time where all the Doctors can interact especially as now that Tim Trelor has been accepted as the Third Doctor by most of the fans, to make up from him not interacting with the Doctors in Light at the End.

The Fourth Doctor & Gallifrey, the Third Doctor & Kate Stewart and Benny & River are all amazing news. Inspired crossovers.
The Seventh Doctor and Ace meeting the CM team is fine, but it's the fourth meeting between them, so it's not like it's new ground. Same with the Sixth, Charley and Menzies. (Where, for instance, we just as easily could have had Six/Benny/River, Seven/Ace/Menzies and Eight/Charley/Counter-Measures...)
I'm excited to hear what the Fifth Doctor story is though. Is that the Time War story, I wonder?

This is one of those releases that's so exciting I'll have to try not to think about it because it'll only raise my expectations too high.

I’m not sure how I’d feel about any of the Doctors other than McGann/Hurt being involved in the Time War.
My own personal understanding of Gallifreyan time travellers is that, broadly (I’m sure there are a few exceptions), their lives continue to run in parallel with Gallifrey even while they’re away.
For instance: the Doctor leaves Gallifrey to go out in the universe, traverses 5 billion years, making stops at a dozen places along the way. But from his point of view, the cumulative time spent in each place he visits adds up to six months. So if he then pops back to Gallifrey, he’ll have been gone from there for six months; he doesn’t get to come back before he left, or after one of his later incarnations.
I know, ‘timey-wimey,’ but to me that’s the only way it makes sense. Otherwise the War was always happening and is happening forevermore, because every time traveller experiences it endlessly no matter where/when they go, no matter what point in their own life (or lives if you’re a Time Lord).

Well "all thirteen" were involved in the last day of it anyway so I'm not too fussed.

Preordered. It is beyond my control. I wonder what Number five and eight are up to, though. The unconfirmed story features the two of them?

presumably the Fifth Doctor story hasn't been recorded yet? Or there's a big surprise guest star?
People are speculating the cover is incomplete.

Mmm. Well not too excited by this. River & Benny sounds fun, the rest not so much. Especially 7 & Ace meeting Counter Measures yet again.

That is roughly true, although you're right that there are some exceptions, especially around the Seventh/Eighth Doctor era. But! If the Fourth Doctor is visiting Leela and Romana on Gallifrey, the rules are out the window for this release. Something is wrong with time, after all.

The 5th Doctor episode not being recorded is what I was thinking as well. I love that the 50th anniversary only got us a 2 hour story but the BF/Who anniversary gets 6 hours. And it really does look like a huge range spanning crossover. And I hope we see the 3rd Doctor utilized more company wide, so Tim’s presence in this set is great appreciated.

I’d also love to be able to buy a print of that cover image.

I'm so excited by this news that reading about it made me late for work this morning.
As much as I love the idea of Benny and River, I also love having Benny with Eight again. And I've been clamoring for a new DI Menzes story for ages. I had a feeling we were going to be getting one after Anna Hope's involvement in New Earth.
I'm really looking forward to whatever else they will announce over the next few months. It's going to be an exciting year to be a BF Dr. Who fan!

Whatever the case, i hope this doesn't act like backdoor showcases to hook people into buy other releases like worlds of doctor who/big finish. I.e something morelike five doctors which is arguably less inteligent than some storys but more fun and referential rather than yet another beginner release to get people hooked

Based on the shot they've used of them, I'd say perhaps Romana is travelling with Four and they meet Leela when they go back to Gallifrey. It could be a foreshadowing/prequel of sorts to Gallifrey, rather than a continuation of the range.
