Miller and I would have been a brilliant title for this set

Is there really any doubt or confusion that this isn't undoing the events of To The Death? It is spelled out as plain as it could be by Nick in the press release:“I have always been clear that I wouldn’t reverse the finality of Lucie’s departure,” continues Nick. “That would somehow seem like cheating and would lessen the emotional impact of what we did. So my plan was always to revisit Lucie earlier on in her adventures with the Eighth Doctor. It’s pretty much what we do with every classic companion-and-Doctor pairing, so why not do it with Lucie?”Yes, that makes a lot of sense.

My impression was that they were essentially clarifying that it takes place closer to Dead London than Human Resources, because they want to use a fully formed Lucie Who’s used to travelling with the Doctor, rather than coming out the back of Human Resources where they’re settled with each other, but don’t necessarily know each other all that well. That sounds right to me, too.

I've decided to do a re-listen as well. Why have I waited so long to listen to these again. Fourth time around and these two are still magical together. I always throw in and Early McGann once a month either a Charley or a Lucie .Always entertaining. Really love the Charley and Lucie stories. And more recently the chemistry with Bliss in the Time War stories is really good too.

The great thing about BF is there is something for everyone.I do not think there is any Doctor/companion range I haven’t enjoyed.I think the thing about Lucie is she is just a fun character none of this lovey dovey stuff just great friendship and sarcastic comments.I love a witty put down and she has them in spades lol. So am definitely into more stories with Lucie

I'm really loving the Eighth Doctor material at the moment, both old and new.

Seems like they photoshopped his later features to the wider head shot. Could do with some old style Eight & Lucie adventures without feeling the need to listen to a 16 disc arc in sequence.

They've photoshopped older McGann's face to the TV movie look. It stands out a bit because we're not used to it, but I think it looks good overall. Wonder if he ever replaced that outfit for a similar one occasionally - surely a Halloween costume wasn't meant to be worn non-stop for years and years!

He'd be looking a bit shabby if he did - kind of like the Second Doctors worn take on the First Doctors appearance. But then again I never realised how the Fifth Doctor changed his outfit so much till years after the event. A 'uniform' outfit really.

So glad to see the cover. It's silly, but the "proof" that this awesome TARDIS team is back together again soon makes me really happy.

I think it would be neat if an older 8 popped back into Lucie's timeline to a point when they were not traveling together just because he missed her and wanted to spend a little more time with her.

In the books, the Doctor’s clothes get destroyed in (IIRC) Seeing I, and are replaced by identical clothes made bespoke for him by his favourite tailors in Sydney. Sam actually comments that he replaced a Halloween costume with a copy of a Halloween costume made out of real velvet and silk.

At least I always assumed he had.
