Pearce's death means that the last of the villains in the DW story "The Two Doctors" is now gone, and the only remaining main guest cast member of that story, not counting "Jamie", is the actress who played "Anita".

You know, now that you mention it, I actually do rather like Attack of the Cybermen ...

No ... No... No.
Much too soon.
A real loss. As someone said above she really did steal the show in Blake's Seven.
RIP

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

Am gutted at this news. I always viewed her as a series regular on B7 simply because she had such a great presence. She embodied that old stage saying about there being "no small parts, only small actors."

So sorry to hear this news. I'd always hoped I'd get to meet her at least.
She seemed such a force for life, and fun, and naughtiness. All of which are qualities I admire.
RIP Jacqueline.

I'm stunned. One of the great icons of science fiction and a phenomenal actress. We were lucky to have her and now unlucky to lose her. She'll be dearly missed.

Very funny anecdote from RTD but totally NSFW. Have you listened to her Big Finish interview? If I recall correctly, that was also NSFW.

Gutted, another actress from my childhood sadly taken far to soon from us, i remember watching Blakes 7 as a 6 yr old & intrigued by Servalan's devious manipulative character who was from removed from a cliche moustache twirling type villian, i loved her performance in The Two Doctor's & she scene steals in every audio drama as Ollistra's with that smouldering husky voice bring to life a interesting three dimensional character.
I shall miss those wonderful performances but at least we fans have the DVD & audio dramas of Jacquelines amazing performances to honor her.
Gone but never forgotten.

Very funny anecdote from RTD but totally NSFW. Jut went and googled it: very inappropriate for that environment, but so very Jacqueline Pearce. And hilarious.

As Jacqueline herself might have said, 'Oh ****.'
That is really sad news to wake up to. I know she hadn't been in the best of health over the last few years but, well, she's invincible surely! Apart from her excellent interview with Nick, there's also From Byfleet to the Bush from Fantom Films, which is frank and fascinating. Like the lady herself.

I only got to know of her recently with The War Doctor, but now I'm in the middle of this massive binge of Blake and damn, this is just awful. I think I may have to go search out all of her work 'cause she is just marvelous. This is such terrible news. I love her in The Reptile by hammer That was on TV a few nights ago

This was a shocker to wake up too.
She will be remembered for out-acting so many people

Does anybody know if Big Finish have anything that hasn’t been released yet with Jacqueline in? Dare I hope to hear her one last time in the next Blake’s 7 box set release. Or even the next Time War set?
Still can’t quite believe it...😢

I was always able to spot her voice. Recently I misplaced my normal MP3 player but I had another in the car, but it featured titles I'd not put on my "A-list" for listening. The first folder was 2000AD, and I listened to what was available, and when JP showed up, I knew it immediately. I didn't even know she had worked for BF back then. Then a couple of days later I get the news that she has now passed.

A group of us who met up today have decided to set up a celebratory Servalan binge of Blake's 7 over the next week or so. A couple of us are going to try and track down some of her other entries from her IMDb page -- The Two Doctors, her Callan episode, the first two episodes of The Bourne Identity series -- and try to make a few days of it if everyone's schedule allows.
