I missed the mark, sorry! Very, very intrigued. Oh don't apologise! I'm playing. I'm in a playful mood... Now... Nurse... the screens! (Seriously, I wasn't trying to shut you down or be defensive. I hope. Apologies if it seemed that way.)

Okay, speculation time everyone: are there remaining Wyncliffe or other storylines that could feed into Wyncliffe?

My, we’ve been busy here today while I slaved away at the office!! You’d think there were new DS announcements or something! So, did someone at BF see my question thread from awhile back that asked “Where’s the DS love?” and finally could respond with: “DS love??? You want DS love??? Here’s some &@#$& DS love, you ungrateful @#$&! Are you feeling it now?!” I’m feeling it! And I’m so very happy this evening! ❤️

Must confess that one slipped me by originally when I read the press release. I was too busy being excited by seeing my name in it twice. I'm quite excited myself at seeing your name twice in the news item, and congratulations! (I'm also hoping to be able to look forward to more fantastic Dark Shadows stories from Joseph Lidster, Cody Schell, and Matthew Waterhouse, being they are some more of my top favorite DS authors).

There is something fun about episodic releases a certain thrill we have lost. Mind you i was brou1ght up on American soaps lol they loved their cliff hangers Bloodlust was huge fun that way, they made six weeks of fun out of serializing a story that I could have gone through in a single day, and I thought it was brilliant the way it made for twice-weekly news items promoting a range that might still be at some risk of being forgotten amid the vast wealth of Who stories and everything else at Big Finish. (In fact, Bloodlust was so much fun that I finally decided to stop avoiding the Doctor Who ranges, even at great risk of financial peril).

I remember going for a midnight drive by myself through semi country area in my hometown- legit was a full moon, smashing through Bloodlust in my car stereo. I got home around 3am all hyped up when I should have been sleeping LOL!

Yes sounds good way of listening to it so the actual box set would actually be released after the first episodes are aired? From memory it was released AFTER the last episode was digitally released..

As I understand it (coz I've asked), the plan at present is that purchasers of the CD boxes will get the downloads added to their account as each episode is released (two per week), and once the last episode on each box is out then the CDs will be mailed out.
That way everyone can listen to the downloaded episodes as they come out serial-fashion as a sort of shared communal thing.
It was quite fun when Bloodlust was released, listening to the episode each night and then watching the speculation and analysis go on...

I have a tiny fannish hope that the "thing we've been wanting to do for a long time" is Vengeance at Collinwood in some form, along with a touched up Return, together in a four-disk box set.

I remember being VERY tired at work the morning after each week's first release--were they Tuesdays and Fridays? I can't recall--but that would make sense--a very tired Wednesday!! It was so fun, in fact, that I love prospect of doing it all again, and again, and again.....so exciting! Pre-ordered both boxsets for Bloodline, in the bundle!

My goal for Windcliff is to out-horror the King of Horror that is Aaron Lamont. That should tell you all you need to know about that particular serial. I actually squealed with delight when I read this. Total "pig in sh*t" moment.

Is return to Collinwood easy to get on amazon or anywhere else stateside by chance if anyone knows because it sounds interesting?

So a query? When you order both box sets of Bloodline do you get all the episodes on the release date at once or one at a time?I wasn’t around for Bloodlust release. You recieve the episodes as they come out, regardless. The individual set will ship once it's run of episodes is complete online.

I am obviously not recalling something that was apparently pretty significant in Bloodlust! Some big “Maggie reveal”? How do I not remember this? Please refresh me!

How do I not remember this? Please refresh me! They do the blood test and it is revealed wrongly i might add that Maggie is a Tory. I mean she is...begins with m ends in r and has onste in the middle I recall the blood tests but I don’t recall that was the result! Just that: {Spoiler} her blood has an abnormality, as a result of having been the victim of a vampire, which we already knew from the TV series. Dr. Dave Woodard noticed it years ago—aberrant cell activity, or in his words, “An unholy union” in her blood. Willie had the same thing, and we were led to believe that anyone who was, or had ever been, in the vampire’s thrall would show the same. At least, that’s how I took it!

You have an added benefit of the tv show series which I have only have a small familiarity with It still lead her to allow herself to be locked up in case it was more. Of course what Bloodlust - I think rather marvellously - does is show that the monsters are not necessarily the supernatural creatures. The Bloodlust of the title is not that of Barnabas or any supernatural entity, but the vigilantism of the town, which I always thought was very clever.
