The fact that these all seem destined to end up on "Audible" Is this a good or bad sign?? I'd say it's a good thing. A second revenue source that brings in more people. And no license holders to pay either, apart from any fees to host it on Audible.

Honestly i thought Cicero over rated am eager for the Next Shilling and Sixpence am still not on Jeremiah Bourne yet. But i would be more eager if they at least proposed they would produce second series of these shows and then at least i would know it is continuing. I think i would be more interested in a second lot of Drama Showcase, little compact individual stories.I avoided them at first but in the end when i bough i thought they were all fantastic.Am sure Cody Schell and Rob Morris and Mr Phipps even Nigel Fairs and Katy have great stories in them not to mention Geoffrey Beevers, that are individual and one off That's very kind of you to put my name out there for something like this. Doing something completely original has an immense appeal!
The 4 Dark Shadows audios I've written have been very well received, but I'm just not on the radar of anyone producing things like Drama Showcase.
I've made repeated attempts to do other work for Big Finish, reaching out to people, expressing interest, directly asking - but at the end of the day, I'm an incredibly obscure dabbler, in a relatively isolated part of the United States' midwest.
Producers are surrounded by writers trying to get their attention. I could spend a lot of time ingratiating myself into certain internet social circles, but that's just not me. There's hundreds of writers who want to write a Doctor Who or other Big Finish audios, etc, so there's no reason someone is going to go out of their way to approach me out of the blue. I know this, so I've asked and inquired repeatedly when something interests me. *shrugs*
That's my due diligence.
Writing is something I do only as a creative outlet, not as a career. Most people writing these audios want to be a Writer with a capital W. I'm a visual artist by trade, so I am not desperate to write to survive, but when I do write, I put everything I can into it. I'm not going to kiss ass or force friendships to get just-any-old-writing work. All I can do is be genuine and true to myself.
If a producer wants something offbeat, dark, inventive and a little funny, they can approach me. It's doubtful that will happen, but who knows?
