I still fire it up every day for the free crystals and collect the Series 9 freebies, but I don't feel as excited by it as I was. Anyone else playing it still?

Yes. Still playing it; still acquiring and upgrading Companions. Still frustrated at how hard it is to get the advanced version of the 8th Doctor.

I used to play it. It is a great game but the novelty just wore off after a while.

It seems to have lost its sense of purpose to me. Where are the past episodes and classic companions? They've added Polly and Jo Grant. They've also indicated that Susan is coming. But the focus right now is on the new season, with a new "episode" each week. This time around, the season tie-in episodes aren't as fun or clever, but some of the new levels they were releasing about a month ago had some clever game elements. |

The picking of old companions seems very curious and we haven't had any older material for a long time. I bought the Sonic and Kids Adventures (the latter disappointed me - no rewards at first), but then the Halloween adventure is quite fun and the easiest way I've found to get the DNA fragments.
I'd still like to be able to play Jamie / Zoe / Ian / Barbara / Susan... I know there's a multi-Doctor level this weekend, shame nothing came last Monday for the 52nd!

Me, I've been terribly frustrated by the Facebook "cloud saving" issues. For me, this started a couple of weeks ago when the Zygons were added. It got progressively worse until no progress I made within the game would save at all. I'm not the only one, and complaints have been registered... I am currently stalled out at 1223 stars!
In the interim, lacking a smart phone or tablet, I thought I'd see what it would be like to use the Android emulator I have on my computer to play the game.... It's kind of frustrating because the damn gems do not move quite the way that I am used to them moving on the Facebook version.
despite that, darn, I guess I got sucked in again. I could not abide not having some powerful companions so I re-bought the Sonic Adventures to get the Rank 50 team members, plus some TC to get the Fan Area and unlock some of the Perks I've become accustomed to having. That was about a day ago... I'm up to 120 stars now.
Sheesh!

How much do you play to have 64 DNA fragments! I've 'only' 1130 or so stars!

LOL, up until the Facebook saving issues, I think I was totally maxxed out on all characters. At one point I mis-anticipated the amount of "Strand" fragments I would need for Rank 6 upgrades, and grinded out a lot more of them than I think I may ever need. (I built a team for I think the last level of the Sonic Adventures that would usually beat it in three or less plays to get most of them)
