Ouch!
To be fair, Graham's bus driving skills and Ryan's mechanic training (he was wasn't he? - I may have forgotten but if so hardly surprising) haven't had much of an airing either and, while I can't judge the realism or otherwise of the ongoing depiction of Ryan's dyspraxia, one mention in the finale was it since 'Kerblam!' by my reckoning. But I suppose Companions (by any tag) have (sadly) often tended to become more generic than they were first written.
Even more seriously for Yaz, the show seems to have forgotten her most of the time. Graham and Ryan are very real now imo with their shared family story; Yaz had one good and one outstanding episode and then...
(Wrong thread really, oh well.)
Graham's bus driver network helped them find Tim Shaw in the first episode, and in Rosa it gave him the idea of how to infiltrate the buses there. Ryan's hatred of his own job did play into his actions in Kerblam where he wanted to stick it to the bosses, and his video-game love played into Ghost Monument. Wheras Yaz - again - seems to be left out. What ep did Yaz actually have? You say two, I'd say none - she nominally had Punjab and Arachnids but in those eps we got to know her mum and her granny better than we have Yaz herself in 11 eps! I really wish we had this year with Ryan and Graham, say goodbye to them, then Yaz joins solo for S12. We're off topic here but to bring it a bit more on topic then - the first story here sounds like a story in The Missy Chronicles book (which is terrific and you should all read it if you like Missy, it's all over her timeline from her first days to her last) and I'm excited to see the differences. Funny that both BBC Books and BF in their first Missy releases focused on the sinister Mary Poppins aspect. Teddy Sparkles Must Die by the amazing Paul Magrs is the story in the Missy book that's based on that notion too. It's also recommended to any Iris fans as Teddy Sparkles himself is quite Panda-like. Yay for the Missy Chronicles book! One of the best Doctor Who books out there, at least for me. It was amazing! I was hoping that maybe Jaqueline Rayner was writing one of the episodes for audio, since I liked her story in the book best, but was not to be. Hopefully in the future?
I hope in general that the audio release is close to that book...

Can you imagine them sneaking in a certain cameo like they did in "the Missy Chronicles"? You know the one, the blonde doctor of archaeology....

Depending on what happens when they meet in 'River 5', I can well imagine someone will be looking for payback ASAP! Neither of them are what I'd call forgiving types...

Perhaps one might put the emphasis on blonde and doctor, rather than archaeologist....

Took a punt on this release & pre-ordered it, never a fan of Missy on tv but i also felt the same about River Song until Big Finish changed my opinion with some fantastic storytelling in there box sets so hopefully they'll do the same here.

Even though the tone of this seems lighter and more comical that the War Master stuff (as far as i know) i would still love a moment for Missy to show us a truly menacing side, a bit of “I am the Master”.

Just listened to the preview and it’s good fun. Michelle is brilliant, better than in The Bekdel Test. The theme tune is odd, though. To me, it sounds like a demented Christmas ornament. On paper that sounds ideal for Missy, but actually listening to it, I don’t think it quite works.

Missy is available in download folders now!
I’m not sure if it’ll bother anyone, but I’ve downloaded through the Big Finish app and it’s listed as an “omnibus”, rather than accessing the four individual episodes easily. Total running time for the episodes is 4:36:10. Behind the Scenes 1:07:26.

I'm half way through this boxset and it is utterly brilliant! Totally superb! Spectacular! Can I think of anymore?? Oh yes, Fan-flipping-tastic!!! Can I just say, I am completely in love with 'Divorce, Beheaded, Regenerated', Mr dorney has had me laughing like a loon and utterly engrossed from start to finish. I knew it was going to be a good un when I first heard about it. Well done that man! (Plus the wonderful cast!!) 10/10 (If I were a decade or so younger, I would say that I now 'ship' the Monk and Missy...this is a dream team up, that needs to happen again)

A Spoonful of Mayhem is good fun. The two kids are great. I rather liked the foreshadowing of Missy’s redemption in the TV show.
Divorced, Beheaded, Regenerated is bonkers. Properly laugh out loud funny. It’s mad to think that the Master and the Monk haven’t been paired together before and I think these two respective incarnations are an ideal match. Gomez and Hound just bounce off each other and deliver each line perfectly.
The comments are briefer than what I’d normally write, but I can’t really think of much else to say. Two stories in and the set is pure fun. The writing is good, but Michelle Gomez really sells Missy on audio, in a way that was perhaps a little lacking in The Bekdel Test.
I can’t wait to listen to the other two stories; Volume 2 please!

The Broken Clock; not quite sure what I made of that. There's a great story there, but I wasn't gripped by the way it's framed. I understand the nature of it being a TV show, but it makes the first third feel overlong and forced; you're just waiting for Missy. Then when she enters, she feels rather restrained and doesn't quite have the presence you'd associate with the character. The final act is really interesting, though, albeit full of exposition, but it suits the framing of the story. I thought it was going to be very controversial until all is explained!
I think I'll need to relisten to this one again soon and it might click with me. I'm interested to see what everyone else thinks!
One thing I forgot to mention in my previous post is the fourth wall breaking by Missy, that's a device that suits the character completely. She does it a couple of times in The Broken Clock to great effect.

{Spoiler} Wow! so this version of the Monk is actually after To The Death, not only that but its the War Monk!!
I love the idea of him running away from the war and no one even noticed or cared that he was gone. Imagine if the 9th or 10th Doctor actually found another Time Lord just for the utter crushing disappointment of it being the Monk.
