I was worrying about how Telltale going phut would stop me playing their games, since for purchases direct from them they used to use DRM based on having to log into the website.
Well, I read on their forums that (some time ago) many-if-not-all of their old games were updated to be DRM-free. I'm currently re-downloading all my games accordingly. I've also successfully installed and run the first TOMI episode without having to connect to the internet.
I strongly recommend anybody else here who bought Telltale games direct from Telltale to download your games again NOW before it's too late. I can't guarantee it's going to work for everything, but if it works for something it's worth doing.
Oh, and if the download button page goes all dead, refresh it and it should work. At the moment.

As you may be aware, somebody has bought Telltale's assets, and is selling a handful of their games at the new website www.telltale.com . What's good news is that you can log into it using your old password, and it would appear that your other old games are still available for download. Now, I haven't actually tried downloading any because I think I'd got them all anyway, but it's worth a try if you're missing anything.

I chose a Gog key, and Gog being well-known for providing extras for games, my copy of Season One came with a soundtrack album and lots of videos and odds and ends. I haven't yet compared these to what was on the Season One DVD from back in the day, but I'd be surprised if some of the things weren't brand new.

But the big question - did anybody save all those create-your-own Sam and Max comic strips? I had a great series about an invasion of Max clones, but it doesn't seem to be available via archive.org.

Telltale 2.0 have now announced the re-release of "Wallace and Gromit's Grand Adventures", "Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People" (guest-starring Onion Bubs!) and.... er... "Texas Hold'em".
