Interesting that they've changed the cover format to one more similar to the normal releases. I think they could have adapted the one they had for the new logo, or at least have kept the style of the artwork (which, to some degree, they have).

If anyone's wants any recommendations on the main series feel free to ask Regards mark687 With Series 5 / 6 / 7 available as bundles for £20 each, I'd say buy the lot if you can! That's 1.66 per ST if you buy a bundle of 12 and I've enjoyed every single one of them.
NOTE: The bundles are not on the special offer code page. Just go to the Short Trips Range page as normal and click 'Bundles' and they are there for the £20 per bundle special price.

Well, that plugged in one of the two remaining holes I have in this range. (edit) but darn, I totally forgot to use the offer code to buy it! Oh well, it's just a few pennies difference.

I've noticed that we're nearing the end of 2018, but no Short Trips for future years are offered yet on the BF website.
This worries me a little because the Short Trips range is one of my favorites.

Ian Atkins' successor has no doubt been hard at work on the 2019 STs. I imagine they just want a bigger, grander announcement.

I don't need an announcement, titles, authors, or anything else. BF has consistently run an excellent line of Short Trips, so I'd buy another year of them without knowing any details at all.

Do you think we'll have more New Series ST in 2019? As in proper New Series Doctors stories, with 9, 10, 11 and/or 12, maybe even War. A new 9, Rose and Jack story would be very welcome, and since Barrowman keeps coming back to record Torchwood, they could have fit a ST recording in the middle of one of those.

I suspect so, but did you realize 2018 was also the first year they wrote one with Mel in it?
There is still a lot of room for new Short Trips even if they don't include the New Series.

I’d like more post-2005 Short Trips, but I think getting the cast is the most important thing. Particularly when there’s still lots of inventive things to do using elements from the original run; the Monk, Master and Narvin spring to mind in recent times. Plus there’s other TARDIS teams who haven’t really had their time to shine yet.
I wouldn’t want them to be incorporating, say, an Eleventh Doctor story read by Stephen Critchlow (though I do like his reading) for the sake of it. If they got, say, Ingrid Oliver, Dan Starkey, Alex Kingston or Ian McNeice then great.

If they got, say, Ingrid Oliver, Dan Starkey, Alex Kingston or Ian McNeice then great. If they do have an 11th Doctor story read by Stephen Critchlow (or Jake Dudman), then it's more likely to be a Subscriber Bonus Trip. Over the past three years, the Short Trips range proper has almost always been read by an actor who plays a character in the story. (Spragg Memorial stories excepted.) The stories read by Critchlow and company are released as Bonus Trips.

Absolutely. I like that the subscriber Short Trips / Rarities utilise the TARDIS teams where the Doctor and/or companion actor is either sadly no longer with us, or is unavailable. I think that works well.

I would buy them, but it's the first time in ages I can't buy something because I don't have the cash in my bank account. Boo.

From Mark's recommendations: I bought 'The Horror of Blechington Station'. That was the first Short Trip I heard! I quite enjoyed it, and it was great to hear such a surprising story from One and Dodo (perhaps the most under-utilised TARDIS team of all time?).

I quite enjoyed it, and it was great to hear such a surprising story from One and Dodo (perhaps the most under-utilised TARDIS team of all time?). A tiny handful of short stories and one novel is all I could find listed (none of which I've read) so yes very probably.
Even First/Steven/Dodo don't show up together that much in the CCs/STs - although their few BF stories include the excellent 'Mother Russia' and 'Return of the Rocket Men'. And 'This Sporting Life' is a very enjoyable ST.
