Really stressful week at work. Glad that tomorrow is Friday.
On the bright side, I went to see Something Rotten on Broadway last night. A really fun, fantastic show. Very funny. I highly recommend it.

Star Wars international trailer, it literally gave me goosebumps. I'm soooooooooo excited. Have you seen the new character posters? Den of Geek has a funny slideshow with silly (and in some cases NSFW) versions. Are you getting the app-controlled droid? Very tempted simply to wind up my family. What not made my day was partaking in a argument when some Who fanboy said I'm not a true Doctor Who fan because i haven't brought The Underwater Menace, my replies were shall we say colourful metaphors. He's a nuWho newbie thinks he's king s..t, i been a fan for 36 year's, wonder if he got all the BF audios, NA, MA novels & every DVD barring TUM which i haven't brought because & this is just my opinion i think it's a cash in & little effort gone into release. |

On the bright side you've got someone to sacrifice to Amdo. I do agree that the DVD release is poor, at least in how the missing two episodes are represented. Have you really got every NA and MA novel? I am impressed. |

Made my day: The repairman fixed it today.
Not made my day: The copy of an 19th century translation of Aristophanes I ordered should have arrived, but the seller sent a paperback book about chess instead. The bookseller knows they made a mistake, but is holding my original order hostage until *I* send back *their* mistake. Apparently their precious paperback book is more valuable to them than their paying customers. I may just seek a straight refund (including both sets of postage), and look elsewhere to buy.

Yes, all those 22 mile round trips to John McKenzies to purchase what was at the time new Doctor Who in the early 90's & beyond weren't in vein, or it could be my ocd that i had to collect every release LOL. Don't need TUM I'm quite happy with the soundtrack which features great narration. |

And direct?  Yeah, I don't get that attiude, either. For me, I have The Underwater Menance on preorder because it's a chance to finally come close to seeing the serial as it was on broadcast and that's exciting! That's the experience I've chosen! And that is perfectly valid way to experience the show! (I wasn't aware that there were that many shortcommings to the release, but still, I literally don't care. TAKE MY MONEY, BBC. TAKE IT.) But, so is your decision not to buy it - it clearly doesn't make you any less of a fan. |
