The wonderful stress of working on an ebook assignment that's due Friday evening and having a 1500 word essay to complete for Monday evening that I haven't started yet. Typical me of course. I never start things early. But I'm glad that after that, besides a lecture or two and some reflective tutorials, I'll have the time in the weeks after that to watch films, write reviews, sort through photos and hey, maybe even look for accommodation and work for next year.  *and revise probs |

Band had our first meeting yesterday. Sure there're only three of us atm, but we've got the makings of a couple of songs and are talking about covers as well.
What didnt make my day, for some reason Freeview decided to stop working. I've got a few channels back but not all of them yet and also my dongle wont pick up a signal atm so, im currently using the Library Wifi

Tom Baker Hound of the Baskervilles the BBC drama. Cracking find at Charity Shop, I have now the pleasure of digging out the VHS recorder, I might digitally transfer this to digital to make watching it easier. Although the idea of cranking up the VHS is as exciting as as listening to a vinyl recording. What hasn't made my day, the my glasses breaking and not being able to find the spare pair, so have to get a new prescription and new pair.

Not made my day - getting up at 3.30 to take my brother in law to the airport. Made my day - three episodes of big finish listening time on the way back. Not made my day - next up on my playlist was the brood of erys. Not loving this trilogy. It's very true to sixes TV time, which is bizarre as these come after Evelyn.

And to continue what didn't make my day I just made check-up appointment for both my cats in 2 weeks the other day. Everything was fine with both of them.
Yesterday night I noticed one of my cats has a big round scratch on his back so I will have to make that vet trip a bit earlier (and be late to work tomorrow even though I am swamped).

Have a band rehearsal today so am happy the band is starting to pick up pace now.
Found out my dad has a tear in his right retina, so his vision is foggy and there is blood in his eye. He's somewhat out of commission atm. Hopefully he should be having a brace or clamp but in near the end of the week

Baring a shipping accident, I can now say that I have managed to track down the last of the Doctor Who graphic novels that I was missing. All but one of them a new copy and all of them for shockingly good, non bank breaking prices. And the Doctor Who Lego comes out tomorrow - Merry Christmas to me! whiskeybrewer - all the best to your dad, hope he has a good eye surgeon and that there are no complications once the retina has been fixed. |
