My niece has made my day she came to me for advice then gave me a unexpected hug which brought a tear to my eye. Not made my day is hearing Sam Smith Writings On The Wall may become the first UK number 1 Bond song,  is there no justice in this world of all the great Bond themes this is the one likely to be number 1?, when i go see Spectre i shall have to practice my mindfulness exercises while this atrocious song plays throughout the main titles. |

Sad to report not true, it was something a friend of mine in DW circlez posted to me he had heard news of missing Dalek episodes recovered but alas it a load of tripe, thought it was too good to be true, for a moment there i was excited. |

Whats made my day: Being invited to this forum and finding out the John Hurt is doing War Doctor stories for BF (Feeling vindicated on that one, based on the abuse I got on the old forum for saying it would be a cool idea.
Whats not made my day: Being told by Learn direct that I've finished the work programme, yet the job centre are saying ive still got 3 weeks left on it, so I have to stop volunteering on the IT course, which ive been doing for 16 months, because its "not in the budget" for learn direct to pay me my bus fare, to come in and volunteer, even though Learn Direct were the ones who asked me to come in and do it in the first place. So now its back to barely leaving the flat as ive got nothing to do while I look for work

Beyond excited at this news of John fricking Hurt reprising The War Doctor & The Time War with Paul McGann has certainly made my day & Doctor Who on Saturday was freakin awesome, one of the best episodes yet & Toby Whitehouse script captured the creepy tone of the late Robert Holmes stories.
Not made my day, we can't discuss this news & other Doctor Who related stuff on the old forum, a few idiot's opinions is more important to Big Finish than Big Finishes loyal fanbase & customers, never used to have forum issues & if we did Paul Spragg soon sorted it, times like this i miss ole Spraggers.

The BF forum would have been buzzing today with The War Doctor news; it's a shame that a few people moaning, especially the anti-Moffat discussions, can take away from the fun that we used to get discussing the audios and other Big Finish stuff (and helping others in the community with advice and audio recommendations), as that's principally what the BF forums were for in the first place... With so much new series stuff to come from BF, I just find it very disappointing the BF fanbase are now nomads in the wilderness and the discussions are taking place elsewhere. In all fairness to Ian and the new gang, it probably was very time consuming for them moderating the forums as they do have jobs to do. Even Paul would have had his work cut out with the recent goings on; I do think they should have banned a few more people though and kept the forums more BF centric. Probably more easier said than done though... |

Made my day: Finally logging on here after a very long day and finding so many old BF forum folks have found us and so many new posts. Glad so see everyone! Not made my day: Still waiting for the David Tennant announcement. Hang in there elkawho I'm sure an announcement will be made sooner rather than later. Not Made My Day. Insomnia & seeing my niece break down in tears because her so called best friends are treating her second best & using her via borrowing clothes treating friends to McDonald's etc..., I literally had tears in ny eye's which is very rare as i don't get teary eyed anymore. |

A friend of mine who works in media is adamant some missing episodes of Dalek Masterplan have been found, I'll keep my reservations until it's actually announced officially.

Not Made My Day. Insomnia & seeing my niece break down in tears because her so called best friends are treating her second best & using her via borrowing clothes treating friends to McDonald's etc..., I literally had tears in ny eye's which is very rare as i don't get teary eyed anymore. Aww you are a good uncle. I don't know how old your niece is but it's tough to be a kid/teen these days. I wish I could offer advice. |
