Sat in the job centre for an hour before I was told that I'd been given the wrong date for my meeting with my new advisor That really sucks  ... Made my day hearing John Hurt in remission with his cancer, keep fighting the good fight John. Also... I'm thinking about posting review's on You Tube & upload them to my Google+ account but haven't a clue how to do it as i only have a Kindle Fire & Samsung galaxy. I know you used to enjoy posting reviews on Amazon, so it might be a good idea to start small somewhere else (Google+ would be a good start). Have you ever thought about podcasting? Not sure if it's made my day or not - Going to the cinema tonight to watch a live stream of Benedict Cumberbatch in Hamlet. Looking forward to seeing it, but not looking forward to 4 hours in those seats ... Cheers Tony It's interesting idea but i wouldn't have a clue how to do it on my tablet. |

Time travel Loot Crate arrived today. Included an exclusive Doc Brown Funko Pop, miniature hoverboard replica, Sonic Spork (yes, spoon/fork) and a Bill and Ted T-Shirt. Last month's was better IMO (it came with a Pikachu hat!).

Time travel Loot Crate arrived today. Included an exclusive Doc Brown Funko Pop, miniature hoverboard replica, Sonic Spork (yes, spoon/fork) and a Bill and Ted T-Shirt. Last month's was better IMO (it came with a Pikachu hat!). My kids are waiting for theirs. We get ours usually around the 20th or 21st of the month. And yes, the Pikachu hat was terrific! |

The Impala is cool as well, and the fact that the box unfolds to look like a book that can interact with an app designed for that box is awesome! |

My auntys declining health is worrying, she has now become incontinent & now wanders out of bed walking around the hospital at night.
Seeing her like this breaks my heart this isn't living it's just existing.

Cheers guy's it's just so flipping degrading seeing someone you love becoming more & more detached from her family.
Thank god Doctor Who on tonight & my DW CDs arrived to help distract me a bit cause if i keep thinking about it i get more & more upset.

Simon, sorry to hear about your Aunt. Enjoyed a lovely morning trying to work from home while my cat tried sitting on the work laptop - makes me wish I could bring her to the office as it would make the day much more amusing.  Just finished baking muffins, smells lovely here. Now to relax a few hours before lugging three instruments to a practice. |

The first month at university has been stressful piles of work, disorganised group projects and the guy I fell for during freshers and was on the verge of dating breaking everything up within a week. Fun fun fun.

I had a really nice day with my some of my family that I don't get to see very often. We went apple picking and had two wonderful meals together today. We also did a really fun corn maze at the farm. It was a great day!

Fox aren't really on the ball when it comes to some licences. They screw over Firefly, airing only 12 of the fourteen episodes and not even in airing those 12 in order (and that's after demanding a new pilot be written because the first one didn't have enough action). A couple of years later a follow-up movie is made but the name Firefly can't be put on the DVD because Fox won't let that happen. They still own the rights to the characters of Grace and Chang Lee from the Doctor Who TV Movie, but that didn't result in new episodes, and they aren't letting other Doctor Who stories use those two characters. Sure, Grace may have made sporadic and isolated appearances in comics, but she can't appear in a Big Finish story (which would be perfect for the Eighth Doctor BTW). Her role in one of the early Eighth Doctor novels had to be rewritten to be an original character.
With Fantastic Four, Fox has had three goes. The first attempt did spawn a sequel, but that sequel didn't do so well. In an effort to keep the licence, they probably turned off even the most ardent fans with a movie that was universally panned and was more interesting for the behind the scenes drama than the actual film.
Fox has been doing well with X-Men though. DoFP was very well received. Maybe it's because the executives weren't interfering with those films, and let the director do their own (successful) thing.
