A few pretty good days. On Sat. I picked up a stack of fantastic graphic novels, including one 4th Doctor, and even a couple of Doctor Who novels, all for free. Titles included Crisis on Infinite Earths, Batman Year One, Dresden Files, 1000 Bullets, Kingdom Come, Marvels, Batman #500, Daredevil:The Man Without Fear, and more. The best part is that they were all FREE!! From someone cleaning out his house to move. After I picked them up I went to town's Farmer's Market for the first time this year. They did a great job with social distancing and everyone was masked. On Sunday I made a cake to bring to my friend's house, she had a few people there to say goodbye to a friend who was moving back to her home country, Brazil. It was a great weekend, and yesterday while I was thinking about it I realized that the best thing about it was that it was the first time I actually felt normal. We're not there yet, but we will get back to life.

O.M.F.G :-(
Someone in my work place was tested yesterday. Results in tomorrow - I have almost daily dealings with him (not close up 1 on 1 but he does enter our particular work room). If it's positive, we are all basically going to be sent home immediately with no warning.. There has been no new cases officially in my hometown for 15 days.. GGRRRR

Funeral went as well as could be expected, they were allowed 17, sadly afterwards my cousin got completely wasted & passed out at home drinking 10 bottles Rattlers cider because i wasn't there to reign him in.

Exactly these types of things keep my anxiety level high. It is like a sword of Damokles also hanging over my company- and we are the guys doing the tests! I remember turning up with a sore throat in the spring and was only allowed in after they did the test- they threw me a swab, I took the sample while gagging and had to wait a few hours outside.
All the while battling with a panic attack.

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

So-so to good news: Another interview tomorrow, for a manager position. I'm just a bit wary of it a) because it's in person (WHY is it not phone/webex/zoom?!), and because -- despite already having my resume, scheduled an interview, and asking to bring my references -- they want me to fill in an application when I get there tomorrow. That feels a bit McJob to me.
Better news: The place that I've already had two interviews with finally got in touch with me to tell me I've made it to the next round and will be contacted for a third interview. Not sure what the date is on that one yet, but of all the places I've applied and got back so much as a nibble, this is the one I'm most interested in.

Today's interview went great, but they waited till the end to say what the salary was and it's not livable in this area, so that's a pass even if they call me back. But the other place got in touch today and my third interview with them is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon

Ok.. Another lil nugget of info.. My boy had been ill all this week, started Monday. He was tested for "u know what", and was traumatised a bit at having a big cotton bud stick shoved up his lil nose.. Result came back 25 mins ago, negative. Thank Firetruck... So lucky the official testing centre is literally a 5 minute drive from our house and free for everyone.
phew

Well, for the most part, I've been doing better this week. 'Not 100%, but still better... Monday to Wednesday, with a few blips here and there, I'd say I was hovering around 90-95%, which I'm pretty happy with (no one can be 100% all the time, of course).
Today & yesterday, however, I've been back to being kinda melancholic again during the day... I wouldn't say that I've been as 'bad' as Saturday, but about 80-85% for whatever reason. In the evenings though, probably partially due to a walk into town, yeah, I've been ok.
Alongside listening to BF's new 'Torchwood release', last night I finished watching 'Brooklyn Nine Nine', which I've been really enjoying, and today I've mainly been watching stuff on Youtube, though am winding down for the night over part two of 'Batman - The Dark Knight Returns'.

I did another full car load from the storage shed.. Home stretch now.. I found another stack of 4th Doctor target novelisations I plumb 4got I had.. Awesome.. We have a baby sitter for Jnr, we are going to do a minimum of 4 car loads tomorrow. Then next weekend, we have a trailer for the big stuff, that should hopefully be another 2 loads. Then I can save myself $300 a month on storage fees, that $300 can go on catching up on my BF cds since I haven't bought anything in literally 6 months (besides the pre order Master kitchen sink boxset LOL)
