I feel like a horrible person 😔 I am sorry if I ever come across wrong in posts. I am sorry if I ever come across as annoying or horrible and aloof. I am just overly passionate and sometimes I say things I don’t mean because I have difficulty conveying tone in posts. I apologize if everyone hates me. I get the faint impression I missed something... on the other hand, don't tell me, I do not want to know.
This is all not true, stop telling yourself things like this, you sound like my mum.
At a guess, you might just be a highly sensitive person, like myself, and we just feel and emote more intense than other people (and yes, overboarding passion is part of this).
That does not make us any better or worse than "normal" people, it just makes us different, and that is totally okay.
Remember, everyone out there you admire, you do not admire because they are the same as everyone else. You admire them because they are in some way DIFFERENT.
And yes, we can be a bit of a marmite taste, but tell you what, marmite is also an acquired taste, meaning that if someone makes the effort to adapt, he will be amazed at what he had been missing.
So you are fine.
No idea what happened, but you cannot please everyone, and it is futile to try.
Sending you hugs!

Aww thanks 😊 It turned out to be a big misunderstanding anyways 🙂

Pre ordered all September's Doctor Who Big Finish releases. Looks set to be a really good month for Who, doesn’t it? Can’t decide which I’m looking forward to the most myself, the Fifth Doctor Adventures or Sixth and Mrs Clarke facing off against the Eleven.

Well, it's my birthday today which I don't feel I can celebrate anymore, so it's just like any other day but one odd thing - a card came by courier...and the person forgot to put their name. SO I can't thank them. And I can't ask people "Was that you?" as they'll think I'm saying "Why didn't you.." when I mention it. Catch 22. So if you're ever going to buy a card off Moonpig - make sure you put your name as sender! This was the front so with no other evidence...I think it must be from The Doctor herself!

First Monday I’ve woken up feeling rested and alert in I don’t know how long. I think some of it is because something small but personal that I’d been stressing out about for the past few months turned out to not be that big a deal at all this weekend. It’s given me a lot more confidence to express myself!

Benny and Junebug say “Good Morning”! I realized I had not done any Benny and Junebug posts in a while so I thought I would today😊 Sidenote: On walks, Benny likes to be carried most the time. He will sometimes just stop and refuse to move until one of us picks him up. His nickname is The little prince! Sidenote: Junebug has a really long tongue and it often hangs all the way out of her mouth when she sleeps! It’s very cute! Not so cute, I have to constantly keep my eyes on her during walks because she constantly tries to eat rabbit poop (and there are a lot of rabbits where I live)!

Just accidentally drank some diluted dish washing liquid from a cup I was rinsing. Yum. Just imagine my face when I realized (after taking several sips...) and it will give you a smile for the evening. You are welcome.

"Oh my God, half a raaaaainbow!" I get excited *way* to easily...
The past couple of days at work were pretty busy, so I'm glad to have been able to not do much at home today... 'Did some bits and pieces on the Christmas script I've been working on since December '19, walked into town listening to a 'Superman' radio serial from 1946 and am currently watching the second three-part 'Chicago' crossover (I did the first yesterday) before tonight's 'Inside No. 9' and a bath.
The only real 'downsides' of today is that it's been raining a lot today (nothing bad in itself) and I've been refunded for a copy of "Warlock's Cross" from Ebay, because person who was selling it couldn't find it... =_=

Not a tide pod. I will be fine. However, it was DISGUSTING. Won't be doing that again in a hurry.
I just thought I invoke the feeling we Germans call "Schadenfreude".

It would be a stretch to say it ruined my day or anything, but I had some spicy chorizo sausage that I was quite looking forward to (as part of something I was making for dinner). It turned out to be....not remotely spicy. And I don't mean that there was some 'prickle' but I found it mild, I mean the smoked chorizo I got a few weeks ago had more flavour to it than this 'spicy' one. And now I'm kind of dreading eating the mild one (of the same brand) I bought at the same time so I'd have a little variety.

Warning: Existential/death discussion to follow.
I only really keep in contact with one person from my high school. It's my sister's tenth anniversary since she left high school this year (grade 10 here in Tasmania). This got me thinking about my peer group from high school (most of whom I haven't seen in eight years), so I thought I'd trawl through some people's Facebook pages. I do this every year or two just to see what people are up to/how they're lives are going.
Found out that one of us died a month ago. I really didn't know the guy at all, but I've got very strange emotions about it. He was only 23 and died in a car crash (I don't think alcohol was involved and I don't think it was intentional). It might sound dumb or cliched, but we're all so young. It's so hard to think that when we have our tenth anniversary gathering in a couple of years that he won't be there. He'd married his high school sweetheart too, who I knew a little better (but not much) and she's obviously devastated.
Like I say, I didn't really know them. Just knowing he's not still out there though... I've been so fortunate in my life that at 23 I've not really experienced death. I guess for the first time I'm confronting the fact that it really could happen at any time.
Yeah... death sucks.

I got my refund from lovely Cheryl at Big Finish today, for Absent Friends. You'd think it would make my day, wouldn't you, an extra £8.99 in my account I didn't have before. Strangely enough it hasn't. It's made me pretty unhappy. Ah well, there are worse things that happen.

Near end of last year, I heard through the grapevine of old school friends (of which I talk to few) that someone from our cohort had recently died. I was never close to her beyond being in the same classes occasionally, but it still stung. First death of my cohort, and so young.
