So audity made mention of potentially doing an awards type audience poll thing for the Big Finish releases of 2018, and as nothing came of that after a couple of days I had an idea of how we could at least determine the top 10 best releases of the year. The plan is to create a poll, month by month everyone being able to pick 3 releases from each month and after January 2019 I will compile a thread with the top 20 releases of the year with whichever has the most votes. This poll is for May 2018, more to follow after testing the waters. Of course, discussion is encouraged.
NOTE: The German versions of the Tenth Doctor Adventures Volume 2 are not included and Jago & Litefoot Forever is only for the first story, not The Jago & Litefoot Revival

Blimey, this just reminded me what a disappointing month I had with Doctor Who at Big Finish. I went with The Bad Penny as number one, purely because Tom Baker is on fine form. The Shadow of London second for the same reason.
UNIT: Cyber Reality was third. Such a misleading and disappointing release, though. Even the finale with the War Master wasn’t anything special.
The Fourth Doctor Series 7 finale was awful, I thought.

Lure Of The Nomad i just loved the finale and the Doctors absolutely cold response to a plea for help was brilliant by Colin and George Sears . Jago and Litefoot had to be. Got to admit i enjoyed the fourth Doctor Box set So Age of Sutekh for me

Ah, I’m not sure if I’m allowed to change it without deleting the votes.

J&L Forever Utterly fitting tribute and Christopher Benjamin monologue about Lightfoot really quietly powerful.
DW FDA Kill the Doctor/ Age of Sutekh Perfect blend of Classic and Modern Eras
DW MR Lure of the Nomad I feel this one is somewhat underrated. Willloway's charming, Colin's on fine form, and although Eric Dazen is 1 of many similar type of character we've seen this year, he does have a hidden depth to him,

Great story needs reappraised

Difficult choosing from such a rich and varied month but number 1 was easy:
'Jago and Litefoot Forever!' - just superb.
'UNIT - Cyber-Reality' - the first episode was a bit routine but still good, then every one was better that the previous until HE bursts onto the scene for the big finale.
'Cicero' - when listening to Ancient Rome, think as the ancient Romans did (or we couldn't enjoy it seen from a viewpoint of our modern morality when we know they were so wrong about so many things - slavery and womens' equality for starters.) But given that, an involving series and some fun modern jokes in amongst the ancient politics. (Was I the only one to see it as 'Star Wars' in togas? - the heart of the story is the battle for Cicero's moral soul - will he be a good man by the standards of his day and follow the Law, or will he go over to the dark side of Politics?)
