So audity made mention of potentially doing an awards type audience poll thing for the Big Finish releases of 2018, and as nothing came of that after a couple of days I had an idea of how we could at least determine the top 10 best releases of the year. The plan is to create a poll, month by month everyone being able to pick 3 releases from each month and after January 2019 I will compile a thread with the top 20 releases of the year with whichever has the most votes. This poll is for July 2018, more to follow after testing the waters. Of course, discussion is encouraged.

Eighth Doctor Time War. For the story "Planet of the Ogrons" alone. It is one of these light hearted "pick me up" stories which I have already heard several times and always make me smile. The story is funny, well written with great atmosphere and plenty of humour. The Twelve is amazing. It also is not about the War in general or bogged down trench- fighting, but a great little Doctor Who adventure (if I want war stories or military science fiction, I go back and read Dan Abnetts Warhammer 40k novels TBH). It is one of my all time favorites.
Although, I also liked "Jonah" in the same boxset- the Doctor as captain of a U-Boat. What an awesome premise.

Time War 2. Not groundbreaking, but there’s a couple of great stories in there. The Twelve is wonderful too, and it’s sadly the last we’ll hear of Jacqueline Pearce’s Ollistra.
Hour of the Cybermen is the best of the trilogy.

Only Callan Vol 1 for me from July's releases. It was my first Big Finish purchase of the year and could have gone either way. Happily everyone involved was excellent and it really captured the feeling of the TV series. Looking forward to vol 2 in February.

'Hour of the Cybermen' was a cracker! A UNIT story which obviously likes UNIT, unlike the previous one in the trilogy imo.
'The First Doctor Adventures Vol 2' - two brilliant stories.

8th Time War 2 just for THAT character its just so well done in writing and performance.
Torchwood is always range but this month had the 2 other stand outs of the year for it.
I love everything BF do with Tosh she's now such a positive and yet quietly forceful character Instant Karma was excellent
Yvonne in the clash of the Female Power Suits and the 1st meeting with her Welsh Igor.
Honourable mention for action packed and detailed nostalgia Hour of the Cyberman and 1DA Vol2.
