On BBC4extra, with Sting playing the piebald youth with sinister designs on moving upwards in the world.
My no.1 favourite novel(s) of all time; long winded and full of over the top descriptions, but weird as hell and so vivid. I love it and Gormenghast.

The one from the 1984 according to the site, but I've never heard it before and Sting in Gormanghast sounds... really fascinating, so I think I'll check it out when it broadcasts tomorrow.

I have very good memories of an Audible audiobook read by Saul Reichlin for Gormenghast that might be worth checking out. I got it roughly the same time as their kinda, sorta full-cast adaptation of Dune, from memory.

Get the Dune audiobooks on Apple love the way they narrate them

However, if you enjoy then enjoy.
