Hmm. Interesting. Although I have to say I am not the biggest fan of Rose nor the RTD era, so this might not be my cup of tea.

But we do know BF will probably do something excellent with it

I'll give it a go, I'll trust Big Finish to work hard to make things worthwhile as always. I haven't been the biggest Rose Tyler fan but I think absence has made the heart grow fonder, last time I watched Stolen Earth I wondered how many times they were going to keep bringing her back and if she'd ever go away, whereas when I watched it several days ago I was very glad to see her and totally cheering for her, who'd have imagined? I'm already glad that Billie has been working for Big Finish though. I still think that's stupendous, including this, and I did very much enjoy the 10DAs with her.
I'm also rather fond of Jackie, she's just sort of an adorable sweetheart no matter what alien weirdness she ends up in, so Camille being included is another plus for me, she was brilliant in the Short Trips. Always glad to see AK Benedict writing, which is another plus. I think I'm a wee bit of an AK Benedict fan, I saw a Big Finish Torchwood promo she was in and she just seemed to have this wonderful attitude that came across so easily, I thought "That's the spirit, no wonder she always writes such good stories".

Rose already fell victim to diminishing returns. Not for me.

It certainly sounds like an interesting premise, with it being very character driven and seemingly a one-off about a very specific task. I think, based on Billie’s portrayal of Rose in 10DA V2, she is perhaps best suited for something set after Doomsday.
I think I will get it, but it’ll probably be an impulse buy just before its release.

Why do these Big Finish press releases always make Russell T Davies sound like a guru they visit in the mountains. We sought out Russell and he enlighten us about a thing we were planning to do anyway.

Being sycophantic to keep in his good books and ensure he continues to license his characters and concepts to BF?

Much like Philip Hinchcliffe, it's unusual for a former producer/creator to be so actively interested in these productions. Why wouldn't you embrace that when they are?

My ridiculous question of the day: Does this press release contain the first photograph of Billie at a Big Finish recording? (I don't recall any from her first three releases).
I'm off to get myself some brown cord dungarees...

"..a family drama about the end of worlds. It’s about love and loss and things that might have been.."
"..there are no alien threats or villains to defeat."
I'm intrigued. Really intrigued.
Quite how you take the basic premise I've mentioned above and spin it into a four story Boxset without losing the listener's interest along the way plus not duplicating what was achieved in 'Turn Left' is beyond me.
But Big Finish do have a reputation for making a silk purse out of what seems like a sow's ear of an idea at the time (Jenny and The Diary of River Song spring to my mind), so although I'm not go to rush to pre-order this is definitely one I'll be watching for more information over the next few months.
Edit : nearly forgot. More Camille!! Yay!! 😊
