Very happy with this news - I'm not ready for Survivors to end but I did wonder how much further beyond the end of the TV series they could go, so best of both worlds.

However, this does not mean the demise of the range as teased in the article: “Happily this isn’t the end of the stories from the world of Survivors”! This is the bit that intrigues me the most ...
Speculation: 1. Will they go back down the timeline and do more stories set during the TV series? E.g. Maybe more Greg or Abby in season 3? 2. Will further stories be in the (cheaper to produce) chronicles format? 3. Will we get total new stories and characters set in the world of Survivors? 4. I have a niggling feeling we may see Chase Masterson return as Maddie following on from the audio Season 3 finale, as we get to see what happened in America after the Death 5. I've almost given up hoping for Charles Vaughan, but you never know ...

Well Seeing Chase return or Jimmy Garland I would welcome. Or definitely more of Jenny and Abby if they resolve the Peter storyline differently. There is such a wealth of stories to tell. Yes they could do a Chronicles but much prefer full cast versions but would be willing to try them out.

Was just thinking to create Survivors today recreating 1970s Britain would we a damn expensive production-removing satellite dishes, hiding mobile phones, digital advertising boards, telephone masts, new bus stops etc etc i wonder if there is anywhere in Scotland or England or Ireland which is still stuck in the 70s 😎

I would not mind if the series did a major jump forward in time. Like 30 or 40 years. I think that could be very interesting.

I think Survivors (and The Walking Dead, and most other apocalyptic stories) are at their best when it's a terrifying struggle for survival in the immediate aftermath of the collapse of civilization. I find it infinitely more compelling, engaging, and interesting than I do stories about farmers.

Audio watchdog am probably with Digi on this but it all depends on how they tie up the current series.

Oh, dear ...
{Spoiler} ... could there be a death on the horizon? It's possible, looking at that cover (pure speculation)!

Is it just me, or is that a stunning cover. Elegant and simple but with a lot of depth to it. I may only be on Series 3 but I am already dreading the end as we know it.

I certainly like it a lot better than I liked the Series 8 cover!
