I’ll definitely be buying this, which would make it my first Torchwood audio boxset, though I’ve been enjoying a lot of the monthly audios, and have a sub on the next batch.
But I’m not ordering until vastly nearer the time. Probably not till 2020 to be honest, maybe even just before release.

I'm carefully NOT going to read the article / hear trailers but it's a sure-fire BUY anyway!

Done the first episode. Sort of exactly what you'd expect -- a period-piece Doctor Who-ish adventure, starring a character a lot like Jack, except entirely amoral. That said, it didn't detract from the story, I enjoyed it. I found the way David Llewellyn wrote Captain John's 'narration' bits as a weary meta-commentary to be particularly amusing

I won't be able to listen to this for a while so can someone who's heard it let me know which stories Jack is in? I think it's just the 3rd but I'm not sure. (If there's a twist reveal in one of the stories that Jack is in it after you don't expect him to be then I'm happy to be lied to)

'Hope everyone enjoys this release, but, alas, while I'd consider getting this one I (sadly) don't have the money for it at the moment...

Question about this: I was under the impression that Jack picked his name not long before The Empty Child and John picked his name based on Jack's. So are they just referred to by their names in the blurbs? Or are they called Jack & John throughout?

I've only listened to the first two episodes so far, but timeline-wise, I'm placing it between God Among Us and The Torchwood Archive. It doesn't work for me any other way.

Is there an answer?

Actually question for Scott Handcock (if he's reading): {Peach Blossom Heights Spoiler} Was there actually complaints about The Death of Captain Jack and the sound effects used within? I mean on the one hand it's not necessarily surprising as there was some fantastic sound effects, on the other hand....I mean it's Torchwood and given an warning, are people surprised that there was heavy sexual content?
