The First and Second Doctor are overdue a proper meeting, I think! I even wrote one for them for the first Paul Spragg contest (although it was One & Dodo meeting Two, Jamie & Victoria).

If i hadn't have already pre ordered these this latest news would've convinced me, awesomeness 2018 shaping up very nicely for Big Finish. Now if only Tom & David would do a story together... or Tom & Tim - the two 70s Doctors would be fun, especially when you play with the fact that one is stuck on Earth without the use of his TARDIS

Adrienne Hill would have been 82 this year.

Watching that is SO strange - seeing Peter Purves, practically hearing William Hartnell!

50 years from now, we'll have Matt Lucas spookily voicing Peter Capaldi.

Finally focused on yesterday's news item...and oh my giddy aunt...Peter's first and Frazer's Second finally meeting..more Wendy, Anneke and Elliot (always a good thing)...a recast Katerina (!!!)..and a second Big Finish appearance for the First Master.
While I am still a bit disappointed that we are only getting two stories this year (I'm guessing that either Big Finish are banking as many Early Adventures as possible or that we are on the road to a twice yearly Boxset in the style of The First Doctor Adventures), the announcement has certainly ramped up my enthusiasm for what we are going to get. Roll on November..

So I'm not sure where the best place to post this but I'm just curious if there's any explanation/reason why Zoe seems to be getting underserved in these Early Adventures, with very few stories versus many Ben/Polly stories.
The first batch had 3 TARDIS teams and 4 stories. This one it makes sense as to why Zoe may have only had one story: One team was always going to get two and in this case, why not make it the team with the new voices and such.
The second batch had 2 TARDIS teams and 4 stories, and yet while there were 3 Ben/Polly stories, there was only The Wreck of the World for Zoe (fabulous though it was).
And in the case of the current run: 2 stories, 2 teams. Fair enough BUT the story for Zoe is a multi-Doctor story with returning companion Katarina, and while I have plenty of faith in David Barnes' brilliant writing, I can't help but think that Zoe may get the short-end of the stick as well, in the light of everything else happening in the story.
This isn't me saying there's a conspiracy against Zoe or the fabulous Wendy Padbury. More just expressing somewhat annoyance that she seems to have been underserved within the Early Adventures range, undoubtedly one of the best ranges at BF.

I think Wendy may live abroad part of the year now so it takes longer to timetable recordings around her availability.

Agreed - great covers.
Did we know the Daleks were in Daughter of the Gods? Maybe it was announced but I'd forgotten

Well they weren't in the press release but they made an appearance in the trailer for it. In saying that, we weren't too sure if they had a cameo appearance or a big part. Their prevalence seems to suggest the latter.

I love the little things that Purves and Hines are doing with their hands while they perform. Looking very much forward to this one. David K. Barnes for another story after The Dalek Occupation of Winter and a multi-Doctor encounter to boot. Sign me up! I wonder what the Daleks are up to...?

They've both talked on interview tracks about performing the characteristic gestures of their Doctors - the small hand movements that both used (good for TV closeups of course !)
Answer: The Daleks are up to no good, obviously!
