Another solid Short Trip. A fun concept.

It didn’t really click with me, but the subject matter isn’t my cup of tea. That’s fine, though, the beauty of the Short Trips is they’re so varied in themes and TARDIS teams.
I do like Sophie’s reading, with an affectionate take on the McCoy Doctor.

This was pretty fun. As a player of D&D, I know the feeling of having that natural 1 hovering over your head - you've just given the best rallying speech in history... and nobody cares because you rolled a 1. The game sucks some times, that's all I'm saying This didn't however, and the Ace twist did come as something of a surprise. It was also nice to hear about the Old Gods again; having recently listened to Gods and Monsters, they're still very much on my mind...

That was loads of fun from Alfie Shaw, I was into adventure games (on computers) in my younger days rather than D&D, but I get the references and thought the sense of 'place' within a game set up in a private reality was very well done. And a game played against the tricksiest trickster of them all - that's the meaning of '7' for sure!
Sophie Aldred is always a brilliant narrator and does a great McCoy Doctorrrrr , and I was enjoying the story and thought it must be a late solo Seven adventure as he did one of his bits of 'tidying up' against the elder gods. So the 'dragon' suddenly speaking as Ace was a fun twist in the tail!
Highlight? I chortled when Reya heard a strange sound of something happening, thought 'pixies?' and turned round to see the Doctor 'making music with cutlery'...

Listened to this a while ago, did think it was a fun story. I always enjoy Sophie Aldred's narration.
