Yep. It's never going to be one of those costumes fans are going to adopt into daily wear, but it certainly has its place. And hey, it was the 1980s - big hair, bold colours. It's not so much of a shocker looking back. Oh, absolutely. It was the decade of Adam Ant's punk-dandy-pirate aesthetic, Miami Vice's fluorescent pink jackets and Joan Collins's wardrobe from Dynasty certainly resonates with the look: OMG, Joan could be the Rani as Sixie's total antithesis in that outfit! Well sir, you have certainly made your point with flying colors.

Loving it. Who would have thought I would ever pre-order something with Captain Jack in it?
But this sounds actually quite good and, more important, fun.
And then there is Colin!

This sounds completely ridiculous in the best way!
I didn't hear the previous series - is this line more in the Doctor Who style (i.e., generally kid-friendly with mild innuendo) or more Torchwood (i.e., aimed at older audiences)?

More Who Slanted and mild innuendo.

It is a shame that Big Finish don’t offer individual story downloads e.g. £8.99 per story or get the bundle of all three as a set for £19.99
Which would work for a set like this that does not have an extras disc and would work for someone like me who would like the hear the Sixth Doctor story in this set, but doesn’t have sufficient interest in Captain Jack to get the set.

I was wondering the same thing, in general. That it is definitely possible we see with the 10th Doctor stories which you can buy individually. Not sure what the reasoning is, exactly. And I am also not sure if they would miss out on revenue by not selling box-sets as opposed to winning customers by selling individual stories...

As well as doing it for the Tenth Doctor they are offering it for the Fourth Doctor Adventures also. I get that it is a balancing act, trying to judge if they would miss out financially. But I have said in the past that I am not a fan of spending large amounts of money on something for which I do not receive a physical product. It is one of the reasons I have been resistant to downloads for so long. So personally I would rather download products be broken down into smaller parts to make the monetary outlay more appealing to me. Otherwise I will have to simply wait for the inevitable sale at some time in the future.

Yes, I think it might turn out that it's cost-effective to release 4DAs and 10DAs individually as well as in box sets because these two ranges and Doctors must be their two biggest attractions? (Wild guess that aside from stone cold classics like Chimes of Midnight or Spare Parts, these are probably also the two Doctors we're most likely to hear on vinyl?)

I always thought that, aside from Tennant, that the 8th Doctor was the biggest hit for BF... but since his box-sets are more interconnected, selling single episodes does not make a lot of sense.

Piece of Mind was an excellent story, enjoyed that one quite a bit.
And if someone isn't making a mock-up image of THAT, I'll be quite disappointed.

Well that most enjoyable
1 Run romping adventure
1 Lovely and melancholic
1 Almost realist social comment on the duty of News Media
