This is always tempting, but it would mean traveling from the US. I don't really enjoy bigger conventions like NYCC, so GallifreyOne holds no appeal for me. It seems like a fun day with a good turnout yet not feeling "crowded" (is that fair to say?). Maybe next year...  If you're in the NY area, check out the smaller con that LIWho is hosting in Nov. Only 500 attendees (they say). Tickets go on sale July 1st. Thank you! I live in the area and was happy to see your post on that con in this part of the forum. I signed up for their mailing list and am keeping an eye out for their guest list. |

Yeah ..... was ok...... Disappointed, 5th doc didn’t have a panel on his own....... Oh I wouldn't have lost Peter and Joel joke-sniping at each other for the world. And it's Big Finish Day... as Peter says himself he doesn't remember the details of the plays so a panel of him on his own sticking to the subject of Big Finish might not have taken off as well. |

Would desperately love to go. But international travel is just beyond my budget this year. However I try to save up for next year. Famous last words.... But I am sure it will be amazing. Derby group? i live in derby, but not member of any group The Derby DW group, The Whoovers, have regular get-togethers including Friday night guest events. That is fantastic. I wish my area had an organized Doctor Who appreciation group, let alone get togethers. |
