The World Shapers is definitely an odd one. A running theory I have is that the Voord have well and truly branched out by this time and it's only the surviving remnants on Marinus that end up converted. Maybe the Cybermen seeded it with some of their technology and it's only the recent installation of the Worldshaper that dug it up? If it were adapted... I think you could flip the episode in Scotland. Devote one of its threads to overturning Jamie's belief that his whole life has been as a crazed, suffering hermit. He's actually had an extraordinary life. Fulfilling and fulfilled. But the memory acids used by the Time Lords have caused something analogous to dementia. In his late 70s/early 80s, his sacrifice comes more from a desire not to pass away frightened in bed, but with all his faculties intact at the heart of what his life was all about. Travel and adventure. I like it. That would be a far better way to send Jamie off and more in keeping with his character. I couldn’t see them ever doing it that way but I still think that’s a great idea. When it comes to the CyberVoord, I like your reasoning and I guess you could always attribute it as being one of the many possibilities for their species. Personally, I’d just love to see how they would try to adapt something as visually striking as ‘Voyager’ for Ths Comic Strip Adaptations. Thanks. Ohh, I've thought about that one a lot. It's tricky because it's never clear if the Alexandria we visit in Voyager is a dream, reality or something in between. There was a Blake's 7 audio called True Believers, I think, that had one of the strangest atmospheres I'd ever heard from Big Finish. It was almost like entering a fugue state or a waking dream. Something like that with the Sixth Doctor narrating us through the stranger parts of the story. Almost as if he's trying to piece together what's happening to him at that moment, as much as in the past. I reckon Graham McTavish who did Dracula in the recent Castlevania anime could be a great Voyager. You'd need someone who can do an entity who's effortlessly deep and immeasurably powerful. Like a sandstorm speaking in the desert night. The World Shapers is definitely an odd one. Travel and adventure. The World Shapers is canon, though: courtesy of 12's monologue in The Doctor Falls. And, frankly, I wouldn't have it any other way as I love how clever it is. Sixie's run of comics is pretty much my graphic novel comfort food so some audio adaptations of them would be totally in my wheelhouse and an almost instant pre-order. Especially if we got the "...'s Story" series preceded by its pre/sequel. Oh, I know, right? It's just a really nice team to read the stories of. There's so much fun that could be had with the narrators for Stories and the sound design for the Funhouse. It'd be great to hear Frobisher tell his version of what went down on the Skeletoid planet:

the Death Of Romana 2 now that someone’s suggested it....noooooooooooooo;ooo don’t do it to me Given that the BBC reportedly vetoed any future “Trey” stories, I can’t see them allowing the death of Romana except in the most obscure and possibly survivable circumstances. Really? I haven’t seen that mentioned before and I am surprised that the BBC were that bothered! It would explain why she disappeared like she did.

I’m wholly expecting Romana to end up as a political prisoner locked down in the cloisters on Gallifrey, only to be released and return in all her glory after the Doctor deposes Rassilon in Hell Bent.
Narvin is probably dead meat though.

Another thing I was waiting for and is entirely impossible now - a Blake’s 7 boxset that details what happened in the Darkling Zone after “Killer”. On TV we go from Blake saying (effectively) “they’re a threat to all humanity” in one story and everyone agreeing to storm off and have it out with the aliens and the next story where the hunt for Star One starts.

I never got the impression they were going after them. I thought the message was "Hey, they don't like us. Let's just leave them alone." Makes more sense than going after an alien threat that seems perfectly happy to stay in its own little corner.

I seem to recall Liberator hairing out of dodge with Blake with a flea in his bonnet about the aliens. must be re-watch time.

I, for one, would be interested in seeing a range of novel adaptations of the EDAs, because it's an excuse for some more McGann, and it would be a chance to explore a new style of story for Eight, as continuity unfriendly as they are. It would also give us a chance to get a version of the TV Movie theme, which I adore.

If they did Novel Adaptations for McGann, I think ‘Mad Dogs and Englishmen’ would almost certainly be one of them. All they would have to do is tone down certain elements, get Katy Manning in to portray Iris Wildthyme and have David Benson play Noel Coward and you’re sorted.

Love Both ideas and they Fit really well.
War of the Daleks would only require some bits in the second half changed and its fine
Vampire Science would be fine

I know nothing about the Eighth Doctor books. As such I would only want adaptations if Big Finish fully committed to them with introductions and exits for companions and resolutions to any arcs.
The benefit of the Missing Adventure range of novels were that they were just that and therefore could be dipped into.
Having just one or two novel adaptations with a companion I know nothing about would give me pause.

I enjoy things that i did not continue in my youth. The Books i gave very much up on after the original lot so basically i got up to Cats Cradle then other parts of life took over. The Missing Adventure Range would definitely appeal to me.I enjoy audio listening so have no real desire to search out the missing books that i had not read.

How about River Song having to deal with Rose Tyler in the Ten era? Which one does the Doctor love the most? My money is on Miss Tyler.

Thing is, I don’t think the EDAs would necessarily need to be retconned/altered significantly to fit with BF so much as certain events could be explained in the context of the BF timeline.
As I mentioned upthread, they could set the EDA Adaptations between Intervention Earth and Enemy Lines for Gallifrey which would pretty much explain everything from that perspective. Once that’s explained, there’s only really minor continuity issues, but if they just didn’t adapt certain novels such as War of the Daleks and The Shadows of Avalon, they could completely sidestep the issues with the Daleks, Susan’s and the Brigadier's continuity.

I mean she was a wee bit of a bunny boiler in the end 😂🤪 I think i sensed, he really planned the parallel universe gig with the Daleks and the Cybermen as a way to permanently get her out of the way. But in true psycho ,not going to let anyone else have you style ,she goes and builds a cannon to punch holes in universes and stuff to find him.A normal girl would have got the message😉 I mean no sooner gone he’s Got Martha😎
