Since we are getting all these cross-overs... I have fallen in love with Billis Manger. He should pop up more often. He is just lovely. And bada$$. If you want more Billis Manger why not try the Torchwood book"THE TWILIGHT STREETS" available from amazon in e-book form.i do not think it is expensive.

Since we were discussing it in the Who Books thread- A Comic Book adaptation of the Sixie Comic "the Gift". This could very well be the most fun Who audio EVER. It has an awesome B-movie plot complete with crazy scientist, a weird Star Trek style 1930's America alien society (complete with gangster mobs) and features Sixie, Peri and Frobisher. Who want nothing more than going to an awesome party. We have the Tardis gang dancing, drinking too much alcohol and having a great time until- as usual- interrupted by some unusual invasion. The plot and the solution is hilarious and clever at the same time. Plus Sixie gets a chance to air out his old stolen Apollo space suit. Old gumshoe Frobisher even gets to wield an old machine pistol. It would be a great opportunity to see Frobisher again.

Can a penguin sing the theme to Fireball XL5 to irritate a melophobic scientist? Is the Doctor any good with a trumpet and a brass band? The answer, dear reader, may surprise you.

I can imagine them in 'The Ultimate Evil' mode really making the most of that script - I'd love to hear it!

Remember Sixie on Jaconda - he can do anything 'as' Shakespeare or indeed Shakespeare anywhere! It would be so much fun, let's hope BF are looking for ideas for some more 'Comic Strip Adventures', the Tom set are brilliant.

The Seventh Doctor to have a new ongoing Main Range arc with a new companion. And most importantly, no Ace! Just Seven and a new companion alone together. Ace can crop up in an episode later if she likes as long as it’s far into the arc and the new companion has actually been established first. I’m looking at you Mags trilogy.

Just warming towards Turlough... if played right, he is actually a really great character. I was just thinking how much fun it would be to pair him up with Liv Chenka. That would be glorious. Most likely never happening, but still, just imagine.

But listened to some of his BF stories and I am warming to him. And his dark side gives him a different edge than Adric... there is certainly a more varied and interesting character there to explore. Morally ambiguous characters are so much more interesting than pure good ones...

(I had completely forgotten about Broadway Sixie and Peri, that was a nice surprise. )His character does come off as a bit "whiney" at times, sort of like "Adric". Yeah, that is what I had thought. But listened to some of his BF stories and I am warming to him. And his dark side gives him a different edge than Adric... there is certainly a more varied and interesting character there to explore. Morally ambiguous characters are so much more interesting than pure good ones... He's one of my favourite Fifth Doctor companions, ol' Turlough. I like him for the same reason that the Doctor does: "I never know what you're thinking, Turlough. It's what makes you an interesting travelling companion." He appeals to the same impulse as Villa Restal from Blake's 7. A coward? You could say that, but there's a great deal more to him than just that. He makes a nice counterbalance to Five whose kindness is an instinctive knee-jerk reaction. Whenever Turlough acts in the better interest of others, it's a deliberate choice, one which he generally honours. Although not always. His background is pretty interesting too. I wouldn't mind a trip to Trion 1. 1 - Sidenote: Trion also gets a mention as the homeworld of the Masters in The Tripods, so alongside the Tractators, they may also have been once home to this.

It is strange that Ol’ Sixie is often quoted as the most popular of the Monthly Range Doctors, yet we never had a novel adaptation for him - probably because there aren’t any good candidates. However his comic books are often spoken of in high regard, so why wouldn’t Big Finish give him another range? I can only imagine that they tried the comic strip adaptations with (possibly) their most bankable Doctor and they didn’t perform as they had hoped, so that has put the kibosh on a Sixth Doctor comic book range.

Unfortunately wishing Big Finish (even begging them) to do something will likely never get them to do it
Trust me i wish that wasn't the case

I would have loved a series with Sharon, a true seventies child (like me, but unlike me) exploring the universe with the Doctor. I have said before I believe that they would have been better to offer the two stories as separate downloads as it might have attracted more people without such a large outlay of cash.

I’m just hopeful we get more Seventh Doctor and Mags stories and maybe some Benny and Ace New Adventures boxsets as well. Actually, speaking of the Seventh Doctor, I’d still very much like some more stories with Raine. Just something to tie up her departure - that and Ace’s definitive departure are loose ends that really irk the inner completionist in me.
I think I’ve just about given up all hope for more Frobisher stories at this point. I was so very hopeful that was the endgame of the Comic Adaptations, but I suppose that’s off the table now. Oh well... only in dreams I suppose...

Even if we never get to experience them.
