I’m just hopeful we get more Seventh Doctor and Mags stories and maybe some Benny and Ace New Adventures boxsets as well. Actually, speaking of the Seventh Doctor, I’d still very much like some more stories with Raine. Just something to tie up her departure - that and Ace’s definitive departure are loose ends that really irk the inner completionist in me. I think I’ve just about given up all hope for more Frobisher stories at this point. I was so very hopeful that was the endgame of then Comic Adaptations, but I suppose that’s off the table now. Oh well... only in dreams I suppose... It’s truly a shame about Frobisher. Still, we can take comfort in the fact that he’s more than likely still having adventures out there. Even if we never get to experience them. At least our very own member Wolfie has written a novel featuring Sixie, Peri and Frobisher. Go check it out if you have not done so.

A solo series of K9.. Are there still rights issues? Is there a market and a demand for it?

K-9 has had two attempts at a spin off. Both sadly are borderline unwatchable.

A solo series of K9.. Are there still rights issues? Is there a market and a demand for it? HHMM Definitely scope for a K9 short trip. Bill Baggs launched an Audio spin-off series with John Leeson & Lalla Ward back in 1999, which gained some televised publicity of them in the studio, but it was very quickly trumped by the Big Finish news and seems to have been forgotten about. With only the rights to K9, Lalla played 'The Mistress' whilst they were both stuck in a 'Pocket Universe' of 'Ecto-Space'.

I hate K9. Useless idea. He just got in the way & looked stupid trundling along!

I hate K9. Useless idea. He just got in the way & looked stupid trundling along! It was a product of the Star Wars late 1970's sci-fi craze. C3P0 & R2D2 became cultural icons overnight and so Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica Dr Who & The Black Hole - all had to have at least one cute disco robot for the kids. All things in perspective, K9 was the only one inspired by the SW Droids to have any real Traction. Or long life battery power.

A solo series of K9.. Are there still rights issues? Is there a market and a demand for it? HHMM I don't know..... I'm very fond of K9 but I don't see him carrying his own range. I know he got that sort-of not canon spinoff but I never watched it and I see him as a supporting role. On the other hand, it's no more a stretch than some of the other spinoffs we've gotten.

It was a shame he got written out of Gallifrey.
Not sure why they did that? Perhaps because of his own series they didn’t have his rights for awhile..?

Yup, however we all know BF has a great gift for "redeeming" characters. We all have to stay positive LOL

I'm always waiting for the next box set of David Warner's Unbound Doctor.
More than anything I'm waiting for The Doomsday Contract. I'm beyond delighted that they brought it forward to March 2021.

Watching Frontier in Space now and wondering why we've never seen the Doctor's earlier encounters with the Draconians before!
It's been established that the Second Doctor cured the Space Plague for them in the 21st century - but the story hasn't been told.
The Doctor also knows about the Human-Draconian War - either the First or Second Doctor could have been caught up in that... Could we eventually see an introduction to the Draconians a la The Sontarans?
How about another paired set of Early Adventures? The First Doctor in The Draconians and the Second Doctor in The Sickness from the Stars!

They are an iconic alien race in Doctor Who that feel under utilised. Apart from Paper Cuts have any Doctor met them on audio? I remember back when Doom Coalition was only a title, hoping that the Eighth Doctor might get a Draconian as a companion.
