Theres just something thats telling me this is going to be excellent. Given that its Jacobis last War Master set apart from as we all are deducing a tying together of all the ranges into one explosive finale. The Cover alone kind of sold me.The Use of Gattiss as well so interesting and the absence of Davros very very intriguing.I cannot wait to go where Handcock and Briggs and the writers take us,either way am going to enjoy

My two favorite ongoing Big Finish Doctor Who series colliding! I'm saddened by the series coming to an end (I was expecting an announcement of 5-8 but that seems to not be the case) but perhaps it's better to end on a high note with an almost-perfect set of stories rather than drag it out. Still, I hope we do hear more of Jacobi's Master. This series has made him easily my favorite incarnation.
While I'm disappointed that it seems that every master but MacQueen is getting airtime, I'm delighted that Gatiss is returning to the role.
I also hope that there are many more War Master sets and appearances to come.
2019 has certainly become the Year of The Master.
This alternative universe Master will be new to me as I have consciously avoided the Unbound releases.
The absence of the MacQueen Master is somewhat shocking to my mind as he was the Big Finish Master and I really liked his take on the character.
I will have to make sure I re-listen to UNIT Dominion this year to address the imbalance.
I understand the need to try to save money if that's your reasoning (god knows I've spent way too much money on Big Finish), but other than that - you're really robbing yourself of some wonderful stories and performances.
I don't know a lot of the core Unbound range, but the two David Warner stories are terrific, and his appearances in the last three Benny box sets have been fabulous.
Its Ok,do not worry its all turns out ok until the reality bomb and then those cracks appear 😂 And then it all turns out ok after that too.
Is that the problem am having with the Time War there is no threat? It all gets Time Locked then unlocked.,rewritten etc etc etc.
Give me a Talons or a Fang Rock type story
Yes, I think it is my problem with the 8th Doctor stuff, its all end of the world blah blah blah.
No i thoroughly agree, though i admire the attempt and i would still prefer anything Bf does to recent televised outings.I am sure writers and directors and producers have all learned from the attempt... I am all for large sweeping epics but prefer more intimate stories tbh.
