Almost definitely a pre-order for me as well (though not until my August pay-day), though it means that I might not be able to afford the Rose box set... =_=

I'm not sure if I'll get this one.
Torchwood one has always been the weakest Torchwood series in my eyes (before the fall takes any semblance of logic and throws it out the window, and machines struggled to keep a cohesive story)
I'll probably wait until just before the price increase before I make a decision

I love this cover. I'm not a biggest TW fan mainly down to Jack but the first two of these have had me dithering for a while. I may get them at BFD.

Never really given Torchwood One a listen to, I mostly just stick to main range, slogged through AaU. Might pick up the first two cos this one looks hilariously camp.

I just relistened to the previous Torchwood One box sets and the one on Ianto's origins written by Gareth David-Lloyd was my favorite so far. I can't wait for his new script.

Is anyone else slightly annoyed that, much like Space: 1999, this has a limited print run that they didn't announce ahead of release? What if it went out of print during the pre-order period? We wouldn't have known it was out of stock until too late.

What? Where did you read this had a limited print run?

What? Where did you read this had a limited print run? This is on the weekly news update page: NEW RELEASE: Torchwood One: Latter Days, starring Gareth David-Lloyd and Tracy-Ann Oberman, is out now on download or collector's edition box set.

yeah but where does it mention limited print run? Have you asked BF about it, or is it speculation? What's a "collector's edition" without a limited print run? That would be like saying everything they produce is a "collector's edition". Why draw attention to specifically this otherwise? What adds weight to the argument is the same thing was said about Space: 1999 - after it was released.

Didn't notice that one. To griff: All I am doing is applying basic logic to the information we have been given. If this isn't a limited print run, I think they should be much clearer in the way they word things. Collector's Editions by their very nature are limited in number, so if this isn't they shouldn't call it that.
