For anybody else who's a fan of the work of Ms Walker, the latest series of Annika Stranded (in which she plays the slightly quirky queen of the Oslo police boat patrol) is currently on Radio 4/iplayer. Strongly recommended.

Yes I know, when in her timeline, these are set. And I am glad that Big Finish is picking up on that gap they obviously left with this in mind. It is purely the timing of this announcement that surprising to me. Why though? It doesn't mean Liv can't go beyond Ravenous 4. But the writers keep teasing that she might die in Ravenous 4... it will be a sad day. But I am sure this series where she can be bada$$ on her own will be great, too. I myself feel consoled and just hope she gets an awesome send-off.

Hmm interesting.
I will wait on reviews for this one. The stories sound intriguing and whilst I’m not massively invested in Liv I was kinda curious with the tease in Ravenous 2.

I believe that these are probably gonna be set sometime before the other Kaldor series. Considering Nick Briggs said that Robophobia was supposed to be set months after Robots of Death, whereas the Magic Bullet Series is 10 years later. I can’t remember how long since Robophobia is supposed to have passed by Escape from Kaldor though. How long was she on Nexys VII? And how long was it for her since she'd first met the Doctor? I listened to Dark Eyes too long ago. Also, when is Sons of Kaldor supposed to take place? |

While I am massively behind in the adventures of the Eighth Doctor that this won't be on my radar for a while yet (I haven't even picked up Dark Eyes 1 - 4.. 😳), I am intrigued enough by what I've read to add The Robots to my ever growing list of wants. Top of that list is of course a payrise or win on the lottery to pay for that ever growing list of wants... 😏 About the Dark Eyes series... you are so lucky you still have this amazing series to look forward to. Sadly, one can listen to these things for the first time only once...  |

I don't know which is worse: the blatant shoehorning in of this "gap" for Liv in Ravenous 2, or the fact that I'm already looking forward to it.

Yes and a three story set means probably a more compact set of stories for some reason so i think the action should be pretty tight. now i just have to go finish Survivors series 9 and get really sad 😭 |

Sounds like a fantastic box set in my opinion - getting very strong Black Mirror vibes from it too, especially from episodes 2 and 3, and how can you not love a switcheroo title like The Robots of Life?! |
