I'll take 10 Gambits before I ever want to see Cyclops again.

I am super excited for a horror tinged Doctor Strange, Blade entering the MCU and the Jane Foster Thor movie. And I remain gobsmacked that we will be getting a Eternals film. Blown away.

I honestly don't know which of the announcements I'm most excited for, but I think I'm bouncing back and forth between Shang-Chi and Dr Strange.
"Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" is just such a great title all on its own, and I can't wait to see how they do 'scary' MCU.
"Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" is, oh man, it just evokes a mental image of some kind of mythic/legendary feudal/samurai epic film. I have no idea whether the final product will even remotely resemble anything like that, but just the imagery that floods into my head when I read the title is amazing.

I'll take 10 Gambits before I ever want to see Cyclops again. Cyclops is kinda like Reed Richards for me - they should try again because he's a true cornerstone of the Marvel Universe, a leader, and he should be done right. I quite liked him in Apocalypse, he had potential...all wasted in Dark Phoenix. And James Marsden never got any real chance to play Cyclops, just the third wheel in the Wolverine-Jean thing. A REAL Scott Summers would be great. Feige did say "Mutants" though, which I thought was interesting. He said that rather than X-Men - so I wonder if we'll see the Deadpools or maybe Namor before we see another actual X-Men a good few years away. A 5 year gap for them would be welcome I think. Then it'd benearly a decade since Logan and I think they could recast Wolverine by that point with no backlash. OK, well, there's always backlash for anything these days...minimal backlash!

I can't read it without thinking of their "Doctor Terror's House Of Horrors" Which, funnily enough is a film Amicus made in 1965 with Peter Cushing and Roy Castle...exactly the same year the same studio and the same stars made a certain "Doctor Who And The Daleks", which is a film no-one here would be interested in....

There’s a horror movie called Alien? That’s really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you.

So if we get the Fantastic Four, can the Silver Surfer be far behind? My fingers are crossed.

So if we get the Fantastic Four, can the Silver Surfer be far behind? My fingers are crossed. I'd kinda like to see him in a cosmic movie first. Maybe even a solo one, showing the birth of his heraldry for Galactus. I think it's too soon but if BF do a Phase "Big Bad" again like Thanos, I hope it isn't Galactus, too similiar. Doctor Doom, a real Doctor Doom, would be terrific though. SO much you could do with him. Like Lex Luthor at DC it amazes me the films keep getting him wrong when even if you just steal some comic stuff you couldn't really miss.

So 2022 has to be Guardian 3, Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2. Then again why announce Blade now if it's not going to happen for four years. I'd hazard a guess that Guardians 3 may not be till 2023. James Gunn is doing The Suicide Squad first, and that's not scheduled for release till 2021. The only things in place for Guardians 3 right now are a rough script and the principal cast. I'm not sure a year from 2021 is sufficient time to polish the script, shoot everything, do reshoots, edit, do all the VFX shots, score it, and go through the promotion cycle. Actually from what Ive heard, WB are going to let him do GOTG3 and he can get it done quicker so he has more time after to focus on SS2

I guess it should be no surprise at this point, but Feige also said this weekend (separately from the panel) that they already know what they're doing for Phase Five; talking about how there's really no Avengers team right now, that Phase Four will plant some seeds for the next big crossover, and that when the next big crossover does happen, it'll be a very different team. www.cbr.com/marvel-studios-already-knows-phase-5-next-crossover/

I still want Onslaught to happen, would be the perfect way for the Wider World to truly fear Mutants. and If they use what they are doing in the comics to bring them in, it would work too

DC must be the luckiest guys in the world when Disney fired Gunn, snapping him up straight away and getting him to do SS. I think it's effectively a reboot, from what he's said. Suicide Squad was a mess, a music video pretending to be a film, so the only way is up. Viola Davis is the perfect Waller though. Start with her, DC probably want Robie as Harley in there and let Gunn be Gunn from there.

I did enjoy that too Will be fun if a future post-credit scene is the real Mandarin dealing with "Trevor". Ben Kingsley already came back for the All Hail The King short on the Thor: Dark World bluray so I'd guess he'd be up for a cameo.
