The zipper allows you to remove a totally blood stained alien goo thing soaked into it without having to pull it over your face 🤪😉😎 Actually I'm impressed, your right. Maybe only someone medical would have thought of that. It would allow you to step into the top rather than pull it over your head.

Oh now you are going to pull the show to bits now. Indeed, it's rubbish, I shall put my DVD's, along with the BF audio, straight on ebay Throw in some sapphire and steel 😉

Hysterical. The zipper up the arm costume is something that has bugged me for going on 45 years now and I wrote into the podcast asking if they could ask Jamie about it.

New video out from BF on YouTube. Nick Briggs indicates that the next Space: 1999 release is likely to be three adapted stories and one completely original story. I bought the first one out of curiosity & it was OK. However doubt I will be getting any more. I'd prefer all original stories rather than adaptations.

I agree that I'd rather hear original stories, but I'm glad the series is getting a fresh start regardless.

Caved in and bought and was pleasantly surprised. Good Drama. Did not think of the characters TV counterparts at all when listening ,surprising with how Iconic they are. I did not recognise Bonnar when he first spoke. I thought I would hate the new version of Helena but warmed to her ballsyness in her fight against the political structure shenanigans. I remember a more dramatic breaking away from the moon but this after a second listen this version really does work well. Theme tune is great no complaints. would be definitely interested in a new series of adventures. {Spoiler} Is there and ending planned as to what the signal is? Or will it be Lost as Lost Tv Show got

I’m general I don’t really like Briggs as a Who writer but man alive he tears it apart here! Proper build-up and drama, great character work and a sense of oncoming dread built through the whole episode. For being two hours long it never sagged. I’m definitely enrolled to see where this goes. I’ve never seen the original show (though I had an Eagle toy without knowing what it was), and this introduced the characters and concepts seamlessly. More like this please.
One side question, is Star Cops in a similar vein to this? I want more like this before next year and that’s what looks most comparable. I’ve also never seen SC, so am not interested if it requires knowledge of the show.

But it doesn't really get to sci-fi apart from the setting, no aliens more realistic version of the future. Great characters, really good thrilling stories.

Is there and ending planned as to what the signal is? Or will it be Lost as Lost Tv Show got Nick has mentioned in a recent podcast that unlike the TV series where it was immediately dropped the Meta signal will be explored as the series moves forward.
