A story where the Doctor encounters living cartoon characters from the early days of animation.
If only because I want to see what the cover art for what such a release would be. Maybe a 2-D rendering of one of the Doctor’s in the role of Steamboat Willie? Not sure which Doctor would best suit such a story though.

A 12th Doctor box set where each story is themed around a different era of music and 12 visiting that period and meeting different famous musicians . Some stories could be pure historicals, others could be stranger. But in each one 12 would inevitably end up having jam sessions with each musician.

Probably wouldn’t be as effective on audio but a First Doctor or Second Doctor story where they land on a planet completely devoid of colour with all its inhabitants in sepia tone. As they continue to explore, they discover their own colours are turning grey and if they don’t leave, eventually they’ll be trapped on the planet as well.
Considering Doctor Who has made everything from shadows to television static as an enemy or force to be reckoned with it would be interesting if the black and white colouring of the first two Doctors would used in such a way as well.

A Short Trip where the Doctor, after thwarting some threat at a hospital, meets a terminally ill patient and decides to take them on one trip in the TARDIS to remember to many strange and distant worlds.
At least, that’s what we are led to believe. It could simply be taking place in the imagination of the dying patient as the Doctor simply takes them by the hand to be there for them as they take their final breath.
When one of the Nurses meets him after they’ve taken the body away, the Doctor admits that they didn’t even know their name. Before walking away sombrely.
Be a very sad if very poignant tale.

I think you could probably heighten the effect by having it "show" in the audio through a change in sound quality. The longer they stay on that planet, the worse their fidelity becomes. Imagine the first signs of "infection" being the clicking and popping of an old LP...

Imagine the first signs of "infection" being the clicking and popping of an old LP... Ooh. I like that. I’m imagining that the inhabitants (or those who found themselves trapped on the planet) are completely silent and can only warn the Doctor and co away with frantic gestures. Gestures which they might presume to be hostile/threatening at first. Over the course of the story they soon discover they’re exhibiting symptoms of the infections with the loss in sound quality as you said. Maybe they discover the truth in the notes of someone whose ship crashed there. Or diary entries which slowly tell the story of someone succumbing to infection. Personally I’d keep the truth behind the infection a mystery. Is it merely a virus (something from the Viyrans?) which has mutated? A sentient life form? Or merely the planet itself keeping a grip on those who found themselves there?

A UNIT story where, faced with an extinction level natural disaster and the Doctor nowhere in sight, they must seek the aid of the most unlikely of allies. The former masters of the Earth the Silurians and the Sea Devils.

A Martha spinoff, either working with Torchwood, or set during the end of series 3. Perhaps with her meeting and traveling with other Doctors. She’s a badass underrated character who deserves so much more that what she got onscreen.

Now that Big Finish are releasing Return of the Cybermen, it's a huge shame that the original scripts for The Gamble with Time no longer exist.
One last David Fisher story starring Tom & Lalla would have been great.

A Short Trip told from the perspective of Panda who must enlist the aid of his fellow toys to mount an escape from a toy shop he has found himself trapped in.
I think this could be a fun little Short Trip which also lampoons escape films.

A homage to Steptoe and Son where the Doctor (thinking Second Doctor) must try and get back his TARDIS from a pair of bickering rag and bone men who believe it to be scrap.

The really clever human companions like Zoe, Liz and Martha haven't been consistently well used on TV imo. Perhaps it's difficult to let them shine when the show needs the Doctor to be the cleverest person in the room?
A run with TW would be a great idea, Martha has the brains, character and experience. And she could tell TW firmly that the Doctor is always a force for good! Sometimes chaotic and causes trouble, but always in a good cause.
TW Dissected was a very good start, very creepy too.

Will the Doctor never learn? If he will keep parking the TARDIS in Totters' Lane, he'll get totters. What does he expect?! I like to think the Doctor manages to resolve the situation by trading his TARDIS for a Vintage Ming Vase he has knocking about in the TARDIS. Worth millions and enabling both rag and bone men to retire. Of course, as soon as the TARDIS departs the two would walk off to have a pint and immediately start arguing about which share of the profits they will get.

A special release set at the Doctor’s birthday party with every Doctor and companions available. Each story would focus on the different antics and interactions going on at the party. With everything from the Doctor competing with themselves to be in control of the evening entertainment to Doctors and companions pulling pranks on each other, someone jumping out of the massive birthday cake, etc. Some interactions could be funny, some dramatic or heartwarming. But it would all culminate in an epic finale with One roasting all his successors!😁🎂
Sidenote: It wouldn’t be the Doctor’s real birthday since they don’t remember when that is, but every incarnation decided on one day to celebrate anyways because they still want to have a birthday party!😁

This was suggested on another thread sometime ago but I do love the idea so.
A Short Trip told from the perspective of a young Professor Litefoot growing up as a child in China where one day he meets a mysterious Mandarin. A Mandarin whose appearance coincides with the disappearance of several people in the village.
I’m imagining that the Mandarin and child Litefoot engages in conversation but the Mandarin (who is obviously the Celestial Toymaker) does not transport him into his realm as merely another one of his playthings as he senses that he will be of great importance in the future.

A boxset centered around the theme of the Chameleon Arch: With stories of different incarnations of the Doctor having to use the chameleon arch to become human or otherwise and the situations they get themselves into well they aren’t quite themselves. I feel there is still a lot of untapped story potential with the chameleon arch that could be explored.
