Hmm... just a few that I have on my iPad scheduled for re-listens: The Black Hole Original Sin Theatre of War Witch from the Well Vienna Retribution Not a Well Woman Plus- if you like Jo.... I know you might now run away screaming , but the Green Life is a really great comedy and a wonderful homage to the Green Death, and Captain Jack is hardly annoying at all, plus he gets to suffer and die horribly (although, as an immortal, of course it does not stick. However, you might get some gratification out of it). It has nothing to do with Torchwood, apart from having Jack as a character. But he is basically just a grumpy foil for Jo and it is certainly not as sexualised as anybody might have expected (not at all actually). I actually can promise you that you will get at least two laughs out of it. Try it. You do not even have to tell anybody that you did it.
P.S. Actually, the Green Life was that good, I actually listened to it again right after I had finished it, something I only do VERY rarely. It is now one of my pick me up comedy stories for a bad day. Jo is awesome.

The drama show case was an excellent set of stories and have listened many times to Not a Well Woman and my personal fave Unintelligenmt design P.S. Hahah i love that selection and you know me well to pick them Well Black Hole i did enjoy but as you know that crossing Gender Time Lord thing was the only thing that annoyed me. I am coming around to it-though it still wont redeem the Tv shows last season. Yes and if i did listen...I’d only tell you lol. I did think I’d enjoy the Fendahl story with Gwen as i really like the actress...but i read somewhere there were some adult themes i dont know what they were and there are some things i just dont want to listen to in my audios- so i just steer clear

I think the "adult" warning in these is mainly due to some swearing and people using the f-word and there are some sexual jokes (but not really major ones that would have upset me).
I liked the one with the Slitheen, but as a fun run-around, it is only average to good, and I won't necessarily recommend it. I got it mainly for Annette Badland and her portrayal of the alien mayor, I have/ had no real clue who the other main character was/is, apart from that she is more on the villainous side. So it is basically 1 hour of two villainous female characters b*tching at each other.
Which is fun.
But not something you would listen to every day.
I also got the Torchwood release where the two guys go camping in Wales and the play itself also was a bit tame on the adult rating... except that at the end, they included an extra where the two actors play one of the scenes as a gay sex scene. Just for fun. Not my cup of tea, but maybe some people might enjoy that kind of thing. And since it is an extra, you do not really have to play it.
Then I got Serenity, just because it sounded similar to one of my favorite X-files episodes. I also expected at least one gay sex scene, but was disappointed on that front, it also was a lot tamer than I thought it would be. It is just Jack and his boyfriend bantering and b*tching at each other.
Hmm. I sense kind of a theme here.
As for the "adult" scenes in Green Life- does not really have any. It is a bit more brutal and violent than Doctor Who, but since it is just immortal Jack violently dying, I cannot really call that splatter horror. There might also be the occasional swear word in there. But since I also swear a lot, I do not really mind. So yeah, I stand by my word that I can unconditionally recommend the Green Life to you.

I was thinking they may mention stuff that makes me afraid ,things from the darker side of humanity abuse etc. I dont tend to enjoy even Detective stories or Tv Shows which deal with such subjects too much like real life...am on BF to escape from real stuff

Just recently one of the geeky youtubers I follow did a review on Children of Earth and he went into great detail why it upset him emotionally very much. This emphasized that I am just not ready for it at the moment because it would also be very upsetting for me. As for the ongoing audio series, I get it that it will be good quality and great standard of acting and writing as we are used to from BF. I am aware that many people on here absolutely LOVE it. But when I read all these glowing reviews, the words "dark", "bleak" and "deep" pop up a lot and since I already had a hard time with something like "Lies in Ruins", I am aware I might not be able to handle it.
This is why I stuck to the comedy things so far.

I absolutely love the Arnold theme and it is my favorite of them all, so basically everything else comes out worse...

I really enjoyed Witch this time around it was very bland for me the first time and Army of Death wasn’t that exciting but always enjoyed The Silver Turk but now i find both stories are quite strong in the Mary trilogy I will get an uninterrupted listen to the final part again.
