Dear me. 8 parcels due to arrive at my house from BF in September. That could be enough to trigger a reaction from my wife - how much are you spending, where do you think we will keep all this, etc. etc.

Everything except Space: 1999, and that's only because it either wasn't available at the time to pre-order, or I forgot to add it to, any of my past orders. Hopefully it'll be bundled with the first box set next year Otherwise, I'm really looking forward to the Companion Chronicles (which are almost always good), Tartarus (because new companions are always something to look forward to - speaking of which, I'm still surprised Big Finish haven't drawn any attention to the fact that they've got a new companion coming out), and The Vigil (as I've always really liked Tosh, so the more stories with her the better!).

Another busy month!
The premise of The Dimension Cannon is brilliant and will hopefully be a very special release. I think Billie Piper is better suited for post-Doomsday Rose nowadays, so I think she’ll be in her element.
Very much looking forward to the two Main Range releases. The previous two have been really good, so hopefully Harry Houdini’s War caps the trilogy off nicely. And a new companion for the Fifth Doctor has a lot of potential, so I’m curious to see how that develops.
The Companion Chronicles is a lovely little range and the First Doctor’s era is so magical. I’m particularly excited for a new Polly & Ben adventure.
I’ll be getting Dead Media too. I have been critical of Jake Dudman’s Twelfth Doctor, but new stories from this incarnation is still very much a novelty.

Benny Unbound Volume 5-More of one of the best combinations Big Finish have done
Dead Media-Well I’m subscribed to the Short Trips so I’m getting this regardless of my views on Dudman’s impersonations. Haven’t heard him in action properly before so will be interesting.
The Vigil-Torchwood monthlies have now become a permanent fixture of my bank account because they’re so consistently good

Another month of getting pretty much everything. A month with a Fifth Doctor release is always a bumper for me and I'm glad to see Torchwood One back for another round, but the Rose boxed set is my most anticipated. All round great looking month for Big Finish.

Hmmm...ticking eight boxes on the poll kinda suggests this might be an expensive month for me..
...and the one that I really didn't think I would be ticking was Rose Tyler : The Dimension Cannon. Was going to let this one pass me by, but having listened to the teaser from the podcast this morning I was rather surprised to find myself being drawn in, and disappointed when it suddenly cut back to Nick and Benji.
Plus if Big Finish thrown in any tempting sales in September, I fear my flexible plastic friend may take a bit of a battering.. 😊

Hmm... after a very busy August, my September will be quieter on the BF front. I am very much looking forward to the new Benny Unbound stories since the last two sets are among my absolute favorites. I am also anticipating the next installment of the 6th Doctor and Peri adventures in the Main Range since the previous 2 were very good indeed. And there is no such thing as too much Colin and Nicola. And I am curious about the 12th Doctor Short Trip. Dudman might not be perfect, but I hope it is offset by a fun story. Otherwise... While I love the spaceships from 1999, and have watched a couple of episodes in my youth, I never have been into it, so most likely will give this a pass. Same with Rose Tyler... she never clicked with me in the TV series and the promise of more stories with her just does not entice me. And while I am (very slowly) warming to Torchwood... maybe at a later date. Of course I am open for almost anything, and if one of the September releases get`s lots of glowing recommendations, I might give into temptation.

I'm a little behind on Torchwood pre-orders lately ( Latter Days not ordered yet and still debating whether I want to sub to the monthly TW range or if it would be better to go month-by-month this time with my finances still in limbo) but I think everything else is already pre-ordered and I have everything on my list except Space 1999 - I'm sure I tried it back in the day but I don't think I ever developed any affection for it so I don't think I have an interest to re-kindle the way I did with Blake's 7 and of course Doctor Who. Aside from Bennie, I don't know if there's anything I'm particularly excited about this month (maybe Tartarus?) - just everything in general sounds really good and there's going to be a lot to enjoy.

Benny+Unbound, the MRs, the CCs and the STs are pre-ordered.
Most anticipated? Very hard to choose, but Benny 5 with the four new writers will be a fascinating listen. (On a personal note, I've been saving the Sixie/Peri trilogy for a binge-listen once all three are out so definitely anticipating that!)

Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Tegan with Samuel Barnett. That makes September's most anticipated very easy!

Wish I'd had done something similar... A binge-listen would be very satisfying and enjoyable. Hindsight is a wonderful thing... Looking forward to the final Sixie/Peri trilogy and hoping that the new Fifth Doctor trilogy is more akin to the previous ones than the Kamelion releases this year.

Looking forward to the final Sixie/Peri trilogy and hoping that the new Fifth Doctor trilogy is more akin to the previous ones than the Kamelion releases this year. It just happened by accident - I was busy in July and I wanted to give a new Sixie/Peri story my full attention so I left it a bit and then I was still busy and then the wave of more new BF releases rolled over it...
And then I got The Time War bundle in August and had the fun of catching up on the first two volumes, so I thought, well, let's make the Sixie/Peri trilogy a really special event then. (And with River 6 just done, The Time War 3 and The War Master 3 to go I still haven't had time anyway - so no planning required! )

Going to add the 1st Doctor Companion Chronicles to my list because the stories sound really interesting.
