My take on #HarrySullivan is now up at CultBox: Despite the catchy title and fun concept, this all felt a bit inconsequential with Harry himself sadly underserved by the story.

I really enjoyed it. The premise is inherently amusing, and I love how the ultra-famous are *cosmically* separate from everyone else.
The "make Harry famous" scene could've lasted longer, though. It's such a great idea, but it only takes up a minute or so.

Hmm. I thought it was OK, but a missed opportunity. The story doesn’t have anything interesting to say about social media and a couple of fleeting digs at it barely pass muster as satire. The biggest missed opportunity is poor old Harry. For the titular character, he’s not very well served and doesn’t really do much; he spends the final half bumbling about and little else. The scene that the title is taken from barely lasts a minute and doesn’t have the impact it should. Sarah is probably the best served, the story appealing more to her journalist side.
I think it’s probably more disappointing because new stories with this TARDIS team is still very much a novelty, especially where Harry is concerned. To see it promoted as something its not and wasting the star of the story is a shame.

Personally a bit disappointed this is billed as 'the first Harry Sullivan story from Big Finish' - I assume my Subscriber Short Trip from last year doesn't count. (Which itself was the second!)
Not the end of the world I suppose!

And also How to Win Planets and Influence People features Harry, albeit fleetingly. Tuesday is a lovely story and it’s stuck with me.

Not the end of the world I suppose! yep at least you’ve written for Big Finish, several times in fact. Not many people can say that Indeed - just a bit disappointed Ian's work in bringing both Harry Sullivan stories to the world was overlooked. I'll get over it!

Not the end of the world I suppose! If it's any consolation, as much as I enjoyed the other two, I'm pretty sure yours is my favorite by a good stretch. Big Finish really should have you writing more. This is disappointing, though - Wikipedia says this is the first story with Harry, and the Big Finish site search doesn't find anything if I search for Harry Sullivan. That's just not right.

Many thanks. TARDIS wiki points out the error, I’ll have a look at wiki, not as easy to edit, though I think I've done it.

It's a nice little story, but I agree that it was nothing memorable.

Decent story with some fun ideas but nothing especially stunning. Some missed opportunities I feel; the main twist comes so late into the story it barely touches the implications and Harry himself doesn’t get all that much of a showing.

I liked the digs at 'manufactured celebrity' and the whole 'people are famous just for being famous' culture, and it was great to see Sarah in action as a journalist for once, though I'd have liked the section where Harry was made famous to be a longer part of the plot - that really was the most original and best part imo.
An enjoyable enough story, but I'll go with what most others have said - I heard a much better Harry Sullivan story one Tuesday (#TonyJones)

I enjoyed this a fair amount. It’s a good solid short story with a beginning, middle and end- has fun with the regulars and has smart, pacy writing. It could have leaned more heavily into the central premise and might have been better for it but I still enjoyed it a fair amount.

Currently you have to have an MR sub including last December's MR stories to get the ST as one of the four Sub Bonus STs for 2018 - until (as it surely must be) it is added to the Rarities collection in a few years time. Great story!
