Apart from start of season 9 I mean...

On the other hand, Capaldi has been on screen for 3 series. And he is my definite TV favorite. But maybe I am just going for older men? That aside, McGann just is very good and there is a reason he is so popular (and we are not really seeing him when listening to the audios, so the fact that he looks kind of okay cannot be the only reason, even if BF have made him up as their pin-up boy).
Even with the other Doctors, there is so much you can do with CGI these days. And they still sound as young as they want. And most of them are definitely still filming. Sylvester attended only one day of ComicCon last year because of filming commitments. As he said, he played a Rrrrussian scientist in a docutainment (or what do you call these documentaries with play acted stuff?).

As for Liv Chenka- isn't there a popular fan theory that she and Helen are an item? That there is some homosexual subtext (which I am completely missing because of my innocence).
As we discussed in another thread, for some people Liv and Helen have become stale, maybe emphasizing that relationship might spice things up a bit? On the other hand, adding a male replacement companion if one of the pair dies might also be a great way to explore things further (not in a relationship kind of way though).

Nah am not for a relationship in the TARDIS so i did read it lol.I dont see Helen as her partner hahah. So glad i must have read it. I said before the more i listen to ravenous i think the dynamic between the three and also the 11 is excellent and not at all stale or boring this IS a GREAT team to go travelling with having Liv in Robots off on her own will be interesting as well. I am very fond of the scene that in Kaldor between the two bonds a friendship.More little scenes ,human scenes i think we always elevate romantic relationships and hold lower friendships which i think are truly valuable.

Come on. Just LOOK at the man. What more reason would you need? Too right! We shall create a new group. The Paul McGann Appreciation Society

Sympathy for the Devil, although it might need to be Benton who owns the pub.

Not sure the general public would accept an "Evil" version of the Doctor. I have a hard time with it. It is okay to have an evil version in a story in opposition to the main hero, like with Zagreus and the Valeyard, but the main Doctor as the evil main character? Highly unlikely.

Sympathy for the Devil, although it might need to be Benton who owns the pub. Great choice! When it was released in 2003 (well before the series returned to television), this episode truly sounded like a fresh, modern, revitalized take on Doctor Who. The sound design and music in particular are very "big budget", and the Doctor's tense confrontation with Ke Le easily holds its own with the type of dramatic scenes we'd come to see from RTD. These factors and the excellent performances made it very easy to imagine as a television show pilot.
Of course, I had zero idea who he was back then, but I remember instantly liking David Tennant's unlikable Col. Brimmicombe-Wood - it sounded like he was having a blast and he nearly stole the show.
Hard to believe it's already been 16 years (!), but this audio still holds up very well for me.
My one small criticism is that I wasn't really into the "Unbound B" theme arrangement used on this release - my personal preference was for the slightly more dramatic "Unbound A" version.

Sympathy for the Devil, although it might need to be Benton who owns the pub. Excellent choice! As a matter of fact, since many of my family members are from Hong Kong, I'm actually developing a Thirteenth Doctor storyline on the Handover. Quite different to Sympathy though.

I would love Chimes of Midnight or The Holy Terror, I think they would be even more masterpieces if filmed. Plus it would be amazing to have some more filmed Rob Shearman Doctor Who episodes!
