Armin Shimerman (@shimermanarmin) Tweeted: I have lost a great friend and the world has lost a great heart @aroneisenberg He was a man of conviction and enormous sensitivity and the best of humanity. Kitty and I grieve for Aron, his boys, and Malissa. Flights of angels my friend...you will be missed. There are no words... t.co/Q18yIVeZEe

Sad news, he was so good as Nog. The character really evolved over the course of the show & he brought that to life brilliantly

He travelled to Australia a couple times for Star Trek conventions in the past. Total gentleman.

Far too young. Nog's journey is one of the best things Star Trek: Deep Space Nine ever followed through on.

Hello again.
Deep Space Nine was for me the most complex and enjoyable of the three Star Trek reboots of the 80s and 90s. As part of a stellar ensemble cast Aron Eisenberg embued Nog with a sense of fun but there was an underlying tension between his relationship with his conniving uncle and his friendship with Jake Sisko and wanting to use his talents.
From a few appearances in series one Nog becomes an essential part of the station, Aron's work on the show is a great reminder of his talent. My best wishes go out to his family and friends.
