Anyone have guesses on what releases the Eighth Doctor will feature. Now with his current ranges coming to a end and all. I assume 3 more Lucie Miller boxsets, maybe a spot on Charlie Pollard 4, probably a new series post Ravenous. Normally 8 usually has loads listed, but not much is listed right now.

Well we will Have Stranded. Then another Time War set. Since Sheridan is open for more i am sure will get more of her and Eight. I think though they might dilute him too much and should concentrate on a Main set with good if not great stories. After such a vast amounts of Eighth Doctor stories in the last year i would like to see fewer but better. As for Charley they should finish of the current box sets (with McGann included)

Whilst obviously plans could change, have they more or less said that the Time War range will end with Boxset 4? I'd assume so, considering they've said the same for The War Master.

How about just some normal adventures no themed boxsets where the main arc of the story is ignored for half the episodes!

Honestly, I would be happy with most things they could offer, since I like the 8th Doctor and the actor seems to be capable of pretty much anything they throw at him. So surprise me.
As for what most likely is going to happen... I am still pretty sure that we get another set of stories in the Time War after the current sets have ended, something of a finale to bring all ranges together. The Time War seems to be a bit of a seller, it would just be surprising if it just stopped.
I also agree that we might get more Lucie Miller. While not my favorite, by all means, I do not really mind her as much anymore.
And we will get the continuation of the ongoing series... they said it will be less of big screen expensive cast blockbuster style and more deep and character driven. Will be a nice change of pace. I am on board. Still hope against hope we keep Liv on board, but one cannot have everything.
I also think we will get less of McGann next year, although he has become BFs poster boy and is pretty popular, so I assume they will still squeeze in 1-2 surprise appearances into 2020 (just not to the extent of 2019). So far, I have not gotten around to the Charley series, but of course I will be onboard for when she is re-united with her Doctor. We might even get, and this is a bit out of left field, a "Further adventures of Charlotte Pollard" in preparation. Since India keeps popping up at BF on a regular basis. Who knows? Would not really surprise me to be honest. I would just hope if they come back to that, that the writing is in the style of the early Charley adventures, since the later ones just did not get "up there" anymore. Or we get a few more totally experimental Divergent ones (which would be my personal favorite, but most likely not going to happen).
Oh, and we should have McGann singing more often. Lovely voice.

It becomes tiresome and predictable when a story is majorly arc-invested. The joy of the format is that creatives can choose how much to invest in the arc so that we get their vision of the best story that they want to tell. Arcs can be lightweight or dense. I enjoy the variety. Maybe, but the boxsets are named with a specific theme so I find it tiresome that half the stories have nothing to do with it, especially as there is such a gap between releases. They feel unnecessarily protracted. I'd prefer less boxsets with less episodes (a trilogy for example with 3 episodes per set) as it would give a greater sense of urgency to the main threat of the arc. After Time War 4 & Ravenous 4 I'm pretty much done with the 8th Doctor sad to say.

I do really enjoy McGanns Doctor but we are stretching him too far at times and having too many Timelines juggling in the air. Time war was interesting but am ready for a pause if not an END to it. I love Ravenous yes even the first set and do not mind an over arching theme but seriously need some individual stories,i bet even secretly the writers are tired of the Time War. Pre Time War McGann is a lot more fun and interesting to me anyway to listen to,I even enjoyed his recent run with Lucie. I want to Go back to the Time when a title threw things into my mind (yes i have said before) oh thats the one with the slimy green maggots and the glowing white skin or thats the one with the brain floating in the tank,or that is the one where the reptiles stumble out of the sea.Mention a Time War Title and i pretty much dont get a vivid picture in my head of very much.Ravenous 2 and 3 i get a lot of pictures lol. Just my opinion though but these writers are good, very good in fact i would hate my greed for stories to burn them out especially on something that gets Time locked anyway 😂

Ideally
Another well known TV Face as the new Companion
The Doctor not mopey and kept a focus if there's a new foe keep him proactive and effective against it.
If there is an Arc keep advancing it.

Regards mark687 this is a kind of problem with me as its an audio and I want the vocal ,not that am against good looking attractive people but I sometimes get the feeling people are cast in roles because of their looks/tv personality and not necessarily for their vocal distinctiveness am sure there are some fantastic distinctive voices out there that could deliver terrific audio performances without me seeing what they look like 😂 but hey I know it’s the world we live in. As for arcs am easy going on them I kind of liked the Fenric arc which stretched over a good many years before reaching a conclusion, little morsels dropped and picked up by later writers

Fenric although well performed is overall Not how I like my Arcs, the final 3 I don't think were needed, and made it out-stay its welcome.

I'm not even going to attempt to guess (normally because my guesses are wide of the mark), but one thing I've always wondered since the website upgrade is why Paul McGann's Doctor is still included with the other three actors / Doctors on the future release idents of the Monthly Adventures / Main Range. As far as I can recall he hasn't been in one in almost eight years..🤔

I've said this countless times before, but if I had gone into Doom Coalition 2 blind just because of River without seeing the covers or cast list I'd think Liv and Helen were the same character and she had Dissociative Identity Disorder because amazing as both Nicola Walker and Hattie Morahan both are, their voices really blend together and they just feel too similar to me.

Ahh interesting. That can really spoil an audio when you cannot tell the characters apart.
