Evil of the Daleks was probably my first missing episode I’d heard* and perhaps even my first Troughton story (with Tomb being the first I ever saw).
*I won the original narrated soundtrack on cassette at my local Doctor Who club’s treasure hunt.

Well could it be any worse? I don't understand why they didn't just take more time with all this, why the rush? Find a style of animation that works & use that same style across all the releases rather than this mess of different styles that vary from average to awful in quality. It’s not one studio doing all of the animations, so I don’t think they’re being churned out. Personally, I’d much rather have the varied animation styles and approaches. They tend to suit each story and bring them to life. Doctor Who is a varied show, changing from story to story, so it’s appropriate that the animation reflects that.

Good stuff, the site in Denmark I posted about on the last page had Galaxy for November and S17 for December. Exciting stuff, if they're open to the Hartnell's' now. We'll see if the animation is less divisive on this one. Screenshot looks OK. Here's the cover, the extras and the blurb:

Definitely excited for the full-length animations to finally reach the Hartnell years! And while it's not a classic, I think Galaxy 4 is a slightly under-rated story. Even before this year's to main events of Evil and G4, I can't wait to see what's in store for next year's releases. Maybe we'll be on a one-Hartnell/one-Troughton-a-year schedule moving forward...

I love the colours of the screenshot they’ve shared. Very Technicolor! Looking forward to a full length animation for the First Doctor and he looks great on the cover.

The artwork reminds me a lot of TV Comic for some reason.

I wonder whether they’ll use the condensed reconstruction from the Aztecs special edition DVD or reconstructions of episodes 1, 2 and 4 with the surviving episode three.

Evil of the Daleks is due to be released on Monday. What’s weird is they haven’t revealed the final cover.
