IF it includes the Bonus Production Interview that came with this version its still worth doing if you've already got the original individual stories

Just lookîng at the product page, it has a total length between the two versions of the complete set previously released. I'm not sure what that means for behind the scenes content.

Actually the free DWM one is 70 minutes less which probably means it hasn't got the extra behind the scenes stuff BUT its 30 minutes LONGER then the original TARDIS Box Set version

Got mine through the post today.
So, that's
1) Issue of DWM - much coverage of their anniversary, and of Terrance Dicks (including info about the original draft of "The Eight Doctors" and its cancelled sequel - including free download code for "Destiny of the Doctor" and a BF sale 2) Magazine acting as index to DWM and associated publications 3) DVD of trailers, material from Season 12, 23 & 26 boxsets, and "Logopolis" tie-in only previous available in US cinemas 4) Flyer for free BBC download from Audiobooks.co.uk when you create a new account (if you already have an account, log in, go into your account, and there's an option for gift codes there)

Quite happy with the DVD. As I don’t own a Blu-ray player I’ve not been buying the sets so to get a bit of the extras is nice. Big Finish offer is lovely as I didn't have Destiny of the Doctor, and may take a look at the other offers (though I think I own most of them). The index is a bit of an oddity, it is literally just an index.
Anyway, time to read the actual magazine.

The index is a bit of an oddity, it is literally just an index. It might be a silly question, but what did you expect an index to be, apart from an index?

Tbh I hadn’t really noticed it’s inclusion in the advertising so it was more a case of ‘oh what’s this-oh an index...that’s odd.’ I’m sure some collectors will get more out of it though.

Indeed - many hours of fun to be spent cross checking the numbers and looking for omissions. Lets face it - someone will task themselves with it.

The 'Doctor Who - The Collection' DVD from 'Doctor Who Magazine' was a joy! It was worth getting the 40th anniversary issue of 'DWM' for. I love the 'Messages From Space' extra with Sarah Sutton and Janet Fielding; the excerpts for the Season 26 Blu-ray box set; the bonus 'Doctor Who Cookbook Revisited' recipes from the Season 23 Blu ray box set including 'Kipper of Traken', 'Dalek Soup' and Sarah Sutton's lasagne; the Blu-ray trailers and more. It's a good DVD to play should you go on a holiday with a portable DVD player. The DVD has lifted my spirits lately as I've been down this week. It's inspired me and filled in my Sarah Sutton/Nyssa fix as I wait patiently for her next UK convention appearance. Tim.

Brilliant issue, as always. Lots of varied and interesting articles. Happy Birthday; long live DWM!
I think the gifts are the weakest link actually. The DVD doesn’t really amount to much - odds and sods from The Collection that I already own or would like to see the full versions of. The Janet & Sarah exclusive is nice, but I think that should’ve always been on Season 18 in the first place. The index is nice for those interested, but I think it’s perhaps a niche too far.
The Big Finish offer is nice, though I don’t find Destiny of the Doctor particularly exciting. It’s not very representative of their output, it’s been involved in a fair few deals already - including a free CD in DWM - and it’s complete. I’m not sure it’ll lead to many new customers. I would’ve been inclined to release 11 episodes from relatively recent sets: Classic Doctors, New Monsters, The War Doctor, The War Master, River Song, Churchill, Jenny, UNIT, The Doctor Chronicles, etc. A teaser from each range that’s substantial in its own right, with the scope to get readers invested in the remainder of the sets and ranges. That can then branch further and further.
I am a subscriber, so I’ve not paid any extra, so I don’t want to come across as being too critical. I think I’d be a touch underwhelmed if I’d paid £9.99, though.

May I recommend 'Vengeance of the Stones' to everyone for starters - classic-style Third Doctor story performed very well by Richard Franklin.

I think it's the luck of the draw, I don't remember having a "Spearhead" audiobook, the last one I got was "Human Nature" and this time round was "Invisible Enemy", I think, so probably there are a selection out there.

No interest in the index, already have the Blu-rays and Destiny of the Doctor physical Disks from the charity shop and downloads from a Humble Bundle purchase, so nothing to warrant the price hike for me. Still have the Target Books special issue to read, so a Tenner towards S26 box set in December i suppose. No need for the 50% code either as I have those I wanted long ago. A shame really.
