So I did these polls last year and they seemed to be popular for determining what we thought was the best of Big Finish of that year and now that it is November I've decided to get it started. Like last year, pick your top three from each month and at the end of January a top 20 pull will be compiled once polling has ended. This one is for July 2019. The Legacy of Time is presented here as one release, not distinguishing Limited and Standard Editions as these polls are based on story quality and not extras quality.

I am not ashamed to admit that in July, overall, I liked the War Master release the best. I just thought the clash of Eight and the War Master was awesome. Plus, I really appreciated that, for this being a Master story, the Doctor gets his behind kicked and the Master (kind off) prevails. This was just such a nice change of pace. Of course Legacy of Time was great, too, with "Sacrifice of Jo Grant" being the best story of the lot, and "Lies in Ruins" certainly the story with the most impact (and what an amazing performance by McGann!). I also really enjoyed "Memories of a Tyrant". Maybe because I have been missing some good old cheesy adventures with Peri and old Sixie.

Gonna be honest this may be one of the harder months for me to choose as everything I heard I loved. I think Memories of a Tyrant while great was a bit weak for me.

I think Memories of a Tyrant while great was a bit weak for me.I enjoyed it, although it was a bit predictable and some of the plot felt a bit forced {Spoiler} Like shipping the brain washed Doctor off to a prison planet without a more thorough investigation and trial
But I was entertained and I am ranking these on how much enjoyment I got out of them. And I do enjoy the hammy side of Colin Baker.
This is also why Lucy Miller did not make the cut for me- the set just felt like a step down from the usual high quality of writing of the 8th Doctor sets.

This is probably the hardest month from which to pick only three. I could put a vote on every single one of these if the rules permitted.
