I've been listening to Bergcast a podcast about Quatermass & Nigel Kneale. Yes, I've been doing that one too. I like the revolving door of participants, not sure such a narrow remit would have worked with the same one or two hosts.

I have been watching a couple of the films again as part of my Val Guest movie season.

I listened to a very interesting podcast recently called Unbordered. It's by a young man who started exploring where his grandfather had come from and his various peregrinations, a lot of them surrounding the rise of Nazi Germany, and coming up with some unexpected answers. It's a fairly quick listen, 2 3-episode seasons. Worth the time to listen to it.

Doctor Who related -
The Big Blue Box podcast. So good I have gone back through the archives as I was a bit late to the party so to speak. Great discussion and reviews all round.
Verity. Was recommended on a site elsewhere of this one that is an all female show. Very good debate and discussion. Am now an avid listener again to their rather large archive.
Debating Doctor Who. Love the debates on here, again a bit late to their party so have been really enjoying their archives.
Other Sci Fi -
Always hold on to Smallville. Fantastic review of every single episode of Smallville. The host Zach Moore is hilarious and the discussion and banter with each guest is excellent.
The X-Cast, an X Files podcast. My favourite podcast overall of my all time favourite show. Everything about it is top notch.
Get into Gate, a Stargate SG-1 podcast. A brilliant episode by episode discussion from an Australian point of view. The lads are hilarious.
The Buffy Rewatch. Good episode by episode review and discussion. Working my way through their completed archive. Very enjoyable.

Just like they did with Chernobyl & Watchmen HBO are doing a Lovecraft Country podcast, called Lovecraft Country Radio. I've listened to the first episode which is a brief introduction to the show, be warned it does contain use of the N word.

Sawbones
A guide through medical history. Sometimes maddening, often-times hilarious and always entertaining. The McElroys just know how to do a podcast.

I recently listened to a podcast called Nice White Parents, about the schools in the US. It's mostly about a specific NY school district but could be more broadly applicable. Here's the description: "If you want to understand what’s wrong with our public schools, you have to look at what is arguably the most powerful force in shaping them: white parents."

My nephew (who usually has good taste about these things ) recommended Midst: An Audio Science-Fantasy to me. Haven't started listening yet, so I'll have to report back.
