5. Joe - needs fleshing out on how he puts the scheme together - probably a pre-title credits sequence would have been better here. How does he also hide his true form as well and did the Doctor rumble him from the start.Just minor niggles... Will probably need a re-listen to this at some point. that would bother me if he did....setting his companion Peri up for heartbreak and in peril from the start? From my listen he was definitely unaware of the nature of his foe.

Still not sure about this one... The first episode is quite good and makes some interesting points about religion - it certainly touches on Durkheim's idea of civil religion and anything being sacred (whether that is intentional or not is unclear).
I found the rest a bit hit and miss. Joe being a werewolf is something we've seen recently with Mags - he is also less interesting than Mags as well if I'm honest. I know he has some good sparring scenes with Sixie, I am not sure if these are enough to redeem it all. If the Doctor has rumbled Joe and keeps quiet, then it is unclear why he puts his friend through all this. It's a bit like Mathew Sharpe again - Joe being another companion that takes advantage of Sixie.
I wonder if we will see Joe again - if there is a rematch, perhaps these things can be fleshed out in a subsequent release.

I think all these little companions should be allowed some extra adventures especially knowing what we know about them both...I mean where did Peri pick up the Bf for a start?

So, I didn't even look at the authors of the individual stories to see the fake names Nev Fountain used for the first 3 stories. I just download and listen. I thought it was 4 separate stories (the impression Nev Fountain was trying to give, as it turned out), so I was surprised and pleased at the way the stories pulled together in the end. I'm a little bit over the whole Gallifreyan vampire bit, and had an "oh, no, not vampires again" initial reaction to the 3rd/4th stories. But in the end I found this to be a very good set of stories. I may need to go back and listen again at some point.
