Roger Allam...by FAR. Genius actor, and the only star of Cabin Fever - probably the most popular audio of the last decade - to not do BF already Cabin Pressure... and Sarah & Duck! SO glad I got the names mixed up in my head 2 months ago as now I'm picturing Roger Allam in Eli Roth's Cabin Fever...now THAT I'd pay double for! A teen sex slasher...with Roger Allam.

David Suchet. He’s done a fair bit of audio work in his time so I’m surprised he hasn’t been approached already.

Don't know how to embed a tweet, but Labour MP Nick Thomas-Symonds has suggested ex-Attorney General Geoffrey Cox could have a future in audiobooks with that voice of his
He would make a good Time Lord in Gallifrey Time War 4

Steven Berkoff. If only to see if he would accept their invitation and hear his thoughts on the piece in the Behind the Scenes at the end.
From what I’ve heard (admittedly such stories are apocryphal) he wasn’t exactly on his best behaviour when it came to ‘The Power of Three’ 😅

Tim Minchin guest star as a rather demented but charismatic eternal who traps the Doctor and companions in his music realm and forces them to sing musical numbers😄

There's an interview with Douglas Mackinnon from around the time PO3 went out where he barely attempts to conceal how difficult he found working with Berkoff.

LeVar Burton maybe as a ruler of the Land of Fiction (since he hosted reading rainbow) 🤔😀 They should get a few more Trek actors in. Last night Sylvester posted a picture of himself with Robert Picardo- he would be quite cool in an adventure, too.

Yes, pretty sure I read that the over-hasty conclusion on the ship was due in part to how much of the footage was usable.

Quite disgraceful and unprofessional behaviour for a classically trained actor if you ask me.

Craig Ferguson! ( once they sign Capaldi for Big Finish 😉) I don’t know what Craig would play but he would be amazing! Maybe he could even be a new audio companion of 12😀

After catching up on ‘Life on Mars’ I’m puzzled as to how they have never got Phillip Glenister in for a story. Have him play the Six or something.

Hello again.
Some great suggestions here. I think it would be wonderful to get Shearsmith and Pemberton to have a crack at a set of four half hour Doctor Who stories. They are masters of the half hour format telling extraordinary stories in their anthology series Inside No. 9. They are rather busy though doing series 6 and 7 of the aforementioned series.
Roger Allam is an actor of great gravitas and would be great in an audio. Miriam Margolyes is an interesting character in real life so a return in the right part would be really memorable. I do like Philip Glenister in Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes he had a real impact and charisma. The cast of Red Dwarf?! Yes I would love to see them appear in character. How the Doctor would cope with these four mischievous space travellers would be hilarious. Can you imagine the Sixth Doctor meeting Mr Rimmer? Would Kryten try and dust the TARDIS console? Would Lister try and stowaway in the TARDIS to get back to Earth? The mind boggles!
Anyway enough frivolities. It is extraordinary the acting talent that has graced the audio booths of Big Finish over the years. We are fortunate indeed. I would love to have Stephen Beckett playing the Ninth Doctor. His turn as Richard III was gripping, I thought it was Christopher Ecclestone in the role.

Excellent mark687!
As Captain Mainwaring would say, I was wondering which of you would spot that first

Yes please!😀 Make it a DI Menzies story where she finds out that she has got a new DCI. A particularly abrasive and violent figure who has the odd habit of talking to himself. With the help of the Doctor, they discover his machinations date back to the ‘70s....
